How have the seasons changed since you have been in school?

Cup challenge

Cup Challenge: Supply your child with plastic cups. Challenge your child to see how high they can build and balance the cups in different ways. Take a picture and tell us about what you built and if you were able to change or transform your cup design into something else.

Create a tree

Create or draw a tree for each season using various materials. describe the differences in your dictation and be sure to label your work. Upload a picture on google classroom and share with us your work.

The seasons song

Hi friends! Today we learned more about the 4 different types of seasons. Let's go on a scavenger hunt to find something that starts with the letter of the weather it is today. Remember Today's weather is rainy so we are looking for something that starts with the letter "R" like rain boots or rain coat.

Steps:
1. Using your looking eyes
2. Take a picture or Draw a picture of what you found that starts with the letter "R."
3. Share and post it on our google classroom :-)

Alphabet transform

Provide various materials such as twigs, straws, string, chopsticks, tongue depressors, etc. and invite your child to transform these materials into letters. Challenge them to see how many letters they can create. Be sure to have printed letters available for children to reference throughout the activity.
