A recycled item

Create something new: Supply various objects such as recycled materials and challenge your child to select one and transform it into something new. Talk with your child about what the original item was and what they have transformed it into as well as how they transformed the object.

Take a picture of what you created and share with us on google classroom.

Clothing sort

Sort the clothing by season! Take a picture of your finished work and upload it on google classroom! When you are finished please be kind for your next friend and move the pieces back to the original place!

Read this super fun poem about our four seasons. Count how many "sight words" you see in this poem :)

Example: I found one sight word "them."

Mixing

Provide an assortment of materials for your child to try to mix together such as oil and vinegar and flour and water. Invite your child to predict what will happen when they combine the materials. Once they mix materials, ask them to reflect on their predictions and what occurs. Do the materials change? How? Draw a picture of your results and share with us on google classroom. Be sure to add your name, label your picture, and add dictation.
