【へっぽこ英会話４Months⑤】親子共に、漢字検定に受かった話
娘が小学一年生だった去年、「漢字検定を受ける」と言い始めた。
負けず嫌いな私は、「まだ娘には負けん！」とばかりに並んで勉強した。
娘の勉強はそっちのけ。
いかに自分の勉強時間を確保するか、ばかり考えていたように思う。（笑）
赤子を抱えて。
そして親子共々無事に合格。
そんな話をオンライン英会話で話してみた。

Few days ago, I got the certificate.
Because I passed the Kanji exam in February 2023.
Japanese writing.
My daughter who is seven years old started to learn Kanji for the first time.
I saw her, I worried about my self.
Because I forgot Kanji.
I usually select Kanji on my phone.
I don't have much opportunity to practice Kanji.
去年２月の漢字検定に合格したからです。
７歳の娘が漢字を習い始め、勉強する姿を見て、自分のヤバさに気づきました。
漢字を忘れたからです。
ケータイで選んでばかりいるから。
I studied hard for 2 months with my daughter.
I needed to complete 125 fill-in the blanks in 1 hour.
especially, reading was perfect.
１時間で、１２５問解く必要があるのです。
she also got the certificate.
She took the children's exam.
She needed to memorize 80 words for her exam.
She studied hard for the exam everyday for four months, whenever she had free time.
８０個の漢字を覚える必要がありました。
４ヶ月間、毎日、暇を見つけては、勉強していました。
Before her certificate came in the mail, even if her score was not high, I would still encourage her and praise her.
Actually, she got 95 percent of the answers correct.
She got high scores.
Her efforts have paid off.
でも実際は、９５％正解していました。
彼女の努力が実ったのです。
we had a great time.
I am very determined.
I don't hide from challenges.
私は、自分がチャレンジすることから逃げないと決めました。
After the exam, my daughter began to study for a more challenging Kanji exam.
Because she is going to do the next exam.
She decided to herself.
彼女が自分で決めました。
She needs to memorize 160 words for her next exam.
But she has enough time because next exam in 10 months.
She does like to learn.
She is good motivation for me.
でもあと１０ヶ月あります。
彼女は、学ぶことが好きです。
私のモチベージョンになっています。
