There are the dishes that remind us of the good memories.
I met the pop up store of Aussie pie in a department. That was delightful suprise, as I have missed the Aussie’s pie so much for these few years.
The pie I had eaten in Aus. would be called “shepherd’s pie.”
On the internet a shepherd’s pie seems not to have pie pastry, but the pie I ate had a pie crust containing mincemeat and mashed ptato.
Anyway I could have pleasant time to eat it and recall the Aussie life.

If I could have my own tea room, the pie would be one of the signature dishes.
I don’t know how to make it for now, though...

楽しい思い出を蘇らせる食べ物がある。
思いがけず、ここ数年ずっと食べたかったオーストラリアのパイに出会うことができた。
思い出のパイは、確か「シェパードパイ」として売っていた。ネット情報だと、シェパードパイは、パイ記事なしのパイとのことらしい。
私が食べたシェパードパイは、パイ生地にひき肉とマッシュポテトが詰まったものだったが。とにかく、パイを食べオーストラリアの生活を思い起こす嬉しい時間となった。

もしも万が一私がティールームを開くなら、看板メニューのひとつにしたいなぁ。ただ、今のところ作り方を知らないんですけどね…。
