この記事が大好きすぎるので、取っておこうとここに記すのでございます。

引退するにはまだ早すぎる。

今までで一番感動したのは、昔Ace High（War Thunderのようなコンバットゲーム）を、スピットファイアの元パイロットと一緒にプレイした事かな。彼はニュージーランドの友達の家で、戦争のときと同じように作戦を考えたり、彼が実際に編隊の戦闘にたってミッションの指揮をとってくれたりしたんだ。最高だったよ。

Coolest thing ever was one squad night we had a former New Zealand Spitfire pilot from WWII "Fly" with us as he was invited over to one our squad mate's houses that lives in NZ. It was very cool having him lead our flight and set up the tactics for our mission as they would have back in the day.

I'm not sure how Aces High will survive against games like War Thunder, etc which seem to offer some detailed control, but where the arenas/maps are short lived and battles tend to be arcade like.
