住友金属鉱山－大幅高　中国の銅製錬大手　共同減産で合意と伝わる

#住友金属鉱山 <5713.T>が大幅高。ロイター通信は13日、中国の大手銅精錬会社が同日、原材料不足に対処するため一部の赤字工場で異例の協調減産を実施することで合意したと報じた。

Goldman Sachs predicts that by 2030, copper demand will grow nearly 600% to 5.4 million tons. This substantial increase is driven by various factors, including the transition to clean energy technologies, electric vehicles (EVs), and infrastructure development.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) provides detailed data on copper demand by sector and scenario. According to their Sustainable Development Scenario, the share of clean energy technologies (such as low-carbon power generation, electricity networks, EVs, and hydrogen) will significantly impact copper demand. By 2030, this share is expected to grow, contributing to overall copper consumption.

Additionally, the growth of renewable energy sources (wind, hydro, and solar power) and the adoption of EVs are key drivers for increased copper demand. Green copper demand is projected to rise from 1.5 million tons in 2020 to 5.0 million tons in 2030, accounting for a larger percentage of total copper demand.
