Message From Giants Manager, Mr. Hara

Leo: What is always important to you in directing a team? 

Hara: You are a team. We are a team as well. Weare  definitely an aggregation of individual skills. A team needs about 80 to 90% of each person's individuality and individual skills, and the remaining 10% or 20% is self-sacrifice. There must be a goal of working for the team. You have to be able to identify that part yourself. It is no good if you just go out of control or play individually. As a professional, your fans will see that each one of you is highly capable. You will have times when you have to come together. At those times, you have to unite the team. I think this is the work of the director. After all, it is individual skill. A group of people who have improved their individual abilities will attract people.

Q. What is your pre-performance routine?

Manato: Leo-kun has so many.

Leo: It starts before the day we perform. I drink water and rooibos tea. Next morning I drink coffee and sunbathe. At the work sites I eat 2 natto rolls, stretch, have voice training, get massages… I talked to staff and there were 23 kinds of routines. Before the concert, I go in an hour and a half before everyone else.

Sota: Everyone sleepily gathered in front of the elevator in the morning at a hotel and said good morning, but Leo-kun was not there. A staff told me that he left an hour and a half ago. 

Manato: I have one regarding my voice. We all do it, but I use balloons to project my voice.  I inflate balloons and sing in the inflated balloons. I drink ginger tea with honey to warm my throat, which I have continued to do since the audition. 

Shunto: I jump three times just before I go on stage. I relax once and jump, and surprisingly good performance is generated.

Ryuhei: I keep charms… stuffed animals. Basically when we go on expeditions, my parents ask me to bring them with me.  

Junon: They are on the top inside of his baggage. 

Leo: Did your mom put them in it?

Ryuhei: Yes, she did. I sometimes feel uneasy without them and start loving them.

Q. What is the dream you have been longing for?

Shunto wanted to be a buatician if he was going to study for an upper school. He attended a beauty school orientation but was half asleep because the audition was more important to him.
