昨日のニュースは、日本はともかく世界にも衝撃を走らせた。

安倍晋三元首相が街頭演説中に奈良在住40代の男が持っていた「散弾銃」に撃たれ、死亡。（昨日のNHKニュースのツイートを引用。）

昨夜のNHKや民放テレビ局は一部を除き、通常の番組を休止し特別番組を組んだ。（上記2つのツイートは、フジテレビ・テレビ朝日の番組休止に関するツイート。）

まず、個人的な意見を述べさせてもらうと、
当時、演説をしてた、安倍氏の周りにはたくさんの警備関係者や党の関係者が居たにも拘わらず、何故、安倍氏を守ることが出来なかったのか。
後々、報道機関は、安倍氏の「警備問題」に関する事が議論の舞台になりそうだが。

容疑者は、「安倍氏の政治的思想で殺意を持ったわけではなく、特定の宗教関係に関わりがあったから、安倍氏を殺そうと思った。」と話しているそう。

これも容疑者の一方的な思いが、1人の政治家の命を落とすことになるとは。改めて「日本」という国には様々な人種が居るんだなと感じた。
安倍氏以外にも、著名人や有名人がいつどこかでナイフで刺されたり、銃で殺されてしまう可能性だってあるのだから。有名になるっていうのはそれなりの覚悟をしないといけないんだなと個人的には思った。

とはいえ、自分はただの一般人なので、あまり狙われる事は無いと思うが。
だから、著名人や有名人は「誰かに狙われる」と思いながら、生活していかないといけないですね。

ちなみに、自分、10年位前に名古屋駅の新幹線ホームで列車を待っていたら、名古屋で演説を終えた安倍氏がSPを連れて、すれ違った事。
今でも、覚えています。
