1. ネットで紹介されている宜野湾市のお勧めランチに行ってみた

🇯🇵あらたつ先生: 今日は沖縄でNo.1のお勧めを紹介させて下さい！沖縄全体といっても広いので、沖縄県宜野湾市に絞らせて下さい。
Today, let me introduce my best recommendation in Okinawa! Whole Okinawa is large so I will narrow down to the area of Ginowan City in Okinawa, Japan! 

🇮🇳サアチ先生: わかりました！
Okay! 

あらたつ先生: その前によく外食に行っていました。それでランチもしくはディナーで良い場所を見つけるためにネットでよく検索していました。でも、地元民として同意できない情報がたくさんあってあまり使えませんでした（笑）
Before that, I often used to go out for eating. So I searched online for a good restaurant to eat lunch or dinner. However, the information is not very useful because there is so much information that I cannot agree as one of the locals of Okinawa. Haha 

サアチ先生: なるほど。
I see.

あらたつ先生: 例えば、「○○は超お勧め！観光客は行くべき！」とか「沖縄お勧め5選」なんかです。ストレートに言えば、多くの場合、サイトが言うことに同意できないんです（笑）
For example, “XX is very recommendable. Tourists should go there!” “The top 5 restaurants you should visit in Okinawa.” In most cases, frankly, I cannot agree with what the website says. Haha

サアチ先生: わかります。
I know what you mean.

あらたつ先生: 実際にそんなサイトが勧める多くのレストランに行きました。だけど「オワタ」と感じるケースがほとんど。人前では言えませんが（笑）
Actually, I went to many restaurants that such websites recommend. However, in most cases, I felt, “Oh my gosh” though. I cannot say it in public. Haha 

サアチ先生: 笑
Haha

あらたつ先生: マーケティングをやっている人は検索順位を操作できますから（笑）それで検索結果をいじることで観光客をだますことは簡単です（汗）どうやってよいレストランを見つけていますか？
That is because, web marketers can modify the rank of search order in the internet easily. Haha So, it is easy for web marketers to deceive tourists by tweaking the search results on the internet. Haha How do you find good restaurants?

サアチ先生: そのためのアプリがいくつかあります。ユーザーの評価に基づいて格付けします。
There are a few apps for that. They rate restaurants based on user reviews 

あらたつ先生: なるほど。たけど、嘘の情報も多いですよね？
I see. However, there are false reviews, right?

サアチ先生: 多くは本当です。
Most of them are genuine. 

あらたつ先生: そうなんですか？いいですね！
Really? That’s good!

サアチ先生: 私の街では、多くのお客さんがとても積極的です。もし製品やサービスが気に入らなければ、みんなが知ることになります。
In my city, the customers are very aggressive. If they don't like a product or service, they will ensure that everybody know it.

あらたつ先生: ある意味、素晴らしい文化ですね！笑
In a sense, it is a wonderful culture! Haha

そうですが、それがレストランに多く期待させます。それを満たせないかもしれません。
Yeah, but it sets a very high expectation from the restaurants. They may not be able to meet that  

2. サービスが悪くてもクレームは言わないのは県民性！？

あらたつ先生: 多くの日本人は本当の感想をシェアしない傾向があります。
Most Japanese customers tend to not share their real reviews. 

サアチ先生: なるほど！あらたつ先生はどうですか？フィードバックしますか？
I get it. What about you? Are you vocal about your feedback?

あらたつ先生: えーと、僕を含めて多くのお客さんがレストランに文句を言うのをためらうと思います（笑）ただ何も言わず二度とそこに行きません（笑）
Hmmm I think most customers including me are reluctant to complain to the restaurants. Haha Most of us just never go there again without saying anything. Haha

サアチ先生: だけど、フィードバックをすると何が悪いんですか？多くのレストランは喜んで受け入れて、改善します。
But what is the worst that can happen when you give your feedback? Most restaurants are willing to take your feedback and improve. 

あらたつ先生: うーん。そう望みますが・・・
Hmmm I hope so. But, 

サアチ先生: 多くの人があらたつ先生と同じように感じていますよ！あらたつ先生は食べ物がよくなくてフィードバックしたことありますか？
Many people feel the same way as you. Have you ever sent back the food that was served because it was not good?

あらたつ先生: 変なんですが、例え相手が悪くても文句を言うべきではないといった空気感があります。笑
Strangely, I’d say that there is an atmosphere that people should not complain to others even if the opposition did bad things. Haha

サアチ先生: それはどんな社会でも間違っている価値観です。フィードバックは人間が反省するのを手助けします。
That is a very wrong value for any society. Feedbacks help a person to improve.

あらたつ先生: 完全同意です！ですが不思議なことに、例え僕が正しくても、せこいと思われるだろうという気がして、フィードバックをするのを、ためらってしまいます。
I totally agree with you!!! But, strangely, I hesitate to give my feedback to others because I feel the pressure that I will be thought of as cheap even if I am right.

サアチ先生: わかります。その一種の屈辱がためらわせますね。ですが、正しいことはやるべきです。誰かの前でやるのが嫌なら、1人でその人に話しかけて知らせてあげればいいですよ。
I agree. That kind of social stigma can prevent you from doing it. Yet, you should do what is right. If you don't feel comfortable doing it in front of everyone, you can talk to the person alone and let them know. 

あらたつ先生: 我慢するとが強調されすぎていることは、日本の悪い文化の一つだと思います。正しいと思うことはやるべきということは知っていますが、日本の教育によって洗脳されているので、しばしそれをやることにためらってしまいます。笑
I think it is one of the bad cultures in Japan; putting up with others is over-emphasized. I know I should do what I think is right but the education in Japan has brainwashed me so I tend to hesitate to do it often. Haha

サアチ先生: （笑）それは嫌ですね。
Ha Ha! I feel very sorry for you. 

あらたつ先生: 多くの日本人に当てはまると思います！
It will be true for many Japanese!

サアチ先生: ですが、どういうわけか、あらたつ先生は日本中のレストランのレビューに従事してますね😂😂😂
But you somehow got into the business of reviewing restaurants all over Japan as your main job. 😂😂😂

あらたつ先生: うその情報に勝ちたいんです。
I want to win over false information 

サアチ先生: いいポリシーですね！
That's a good policy. 

あらたつ先生: 僕のレビューが役立つかはわかりませんが（笑）
Though I am not sure if my reviews are informative or not for others! Haha

サアチ先生: 他の国に引っ越すことを考えたことはありますか？
Have you ever thought of moving to a different country? 

あらたつ先生: ありますよ！
Yes, I have!

サアチ先生: どこですか？
Which country? 

あらたつ先生: うーん、難しい質問ですが、日本の文化はあまり好きではありません（笑）
Hmmm. That’s a very difficult question but I do not really like Japanese culture. Haha 

サアチ先生: なるほど。どこの国が1番合ってると思いますか？
Okay. Which country do you think will best suit you?

あらたつ先生: えーと、それぞれの能力や努力から判断するのではなくて、年上に基本的に従わなければならないという文化が好きではありません。
Hmmm I do not like the culture of Japan that we basically have to obey seniors, not judging from each ability or effort.

サアチ先生: なるほど。日本の若者全員でこれを変える運動をしてみてはいかがですか？😂😂😂
Okay. Why don't you all Japanese youngsters get together and start a movement to change this? 😂😂😂

あらたつ先生: それいいアイディアですね！インドではどうですか？そのような文化はありますか？
That’s a good idea! Haha How about that in India? Do you have such a culture?

サアチ先生: ないですね。年配の方々を尊敬することはとても大切ですが、日本ほどではないですね。育ちによると思います。例えば、私の家族では、それぞれの家族の問題で私たちの考えや意見をシェアするよう言われていました。
No, we don't have that here. Respecting your elders is quite important but not to the extent of Japan. It also depends on one's upbringing, I think. For example, in my family, we are encouraged to share our thoughts and opinion in every family matter. 

あらたつ先生: そうなんですか？
Really?

サアチ先生: ですが、私の旦那の家族では、彼の父が権威でした。私の旦那と兄弟は従いませんでした。
But in my husband's family, their father is the authority. My husband and his brothers don't disobey him. 

あらたつ先生: 僕らは多くの場合、父親の意見に従わなければなりません。
We have to obey father’s opinion in many cases!

サアチ先生: ええ、父親というものは、経験豊富で賢いです。ですが、私たちの意見も尊重しなければりません。
Yes, fathers are experienced and wise. But they have to respect our opinions too. 

あらたつ先生: そうですね！
I totally agree with you!

サアチ先生: はい！
Thanks.

3. 新感覚！こんなに美味しいもの宜野湾市にあったのか！！

あらたつ先生: オッケーです。本題に戻りましょう（笑）
Okay. Let's get back to the main subject! Haha

サアチ先生: 笑
Haha Sure

あらたつ先生: サアチ先生の意見はめちゃくちゃ参考になります😃　僕の宜野湾市での1番のお勧めは、「ボアソルチ バーガー&バー」です！マジでデカいハンバーガーを出します。
Your opinions were really informative for me😃 My best restaurant in Ginowan City is, “BOASORTE BURGER & BAR”! It serves really big hamburgers!!!! 

サアチ先生: ヤバっ！絶対口に入らないですね！どうやって食べるんですか？おいしそう！！
Whoa! I would never be able to fit this into my mouth. How will you eat it? Wow! That looks yummy!

あらたつ先生: いい質問ですね！
That’s a good question! 

サアチ先生: 笑
Ha Ha! 

あらたつ先生: うまく食べれません（笑）
I can’t not eat it well! Haha

サアチ先生: このレビューを読んでる人のためにも食べ方をシェアしてください。笑
I think you should include the answer in your post so that people reading your review can eat the burger. Haha 

あらたつ先生: 確かに（笑）食べながら、ポロポロ落としました（笑）
Right. Haha While eating it, I dropped some parts of the hamburger! Haha

サアチ先生: 日本の方々は外食を好みますか？
Do Japanese people prefer to eat out a lot?

あらたつ先生: はい。
Yes, we do. 

サアチ先生: 私はハンバーガーを食べるのがとても苦手です。いつも1番小さいものを頼みます。食べ散らかしてしまいます。ソースを垂らさずに食べれたことがありません🤣🤣🤣
I am very bad at eating burgers. So I always order the smallest ones. I make such a mess while eating it. I have never eaten burgers without dripping sauce all over me. 🤣🤣🤣

あらたつ先生:笑　このハンバーガーでもそうなります（笑）
Haha You can experience that by eating the hamburger! 

サアチ先生: アメリカンフードはとても（体に）悪いです。自分たちの伝統的なフードに固執すべきです🤣🤣🤣
American food is very bad. We should stick to our traditional foods. 🤣🤣🤣

4. インドってハンバーガー食べるの？

あらたつ先生: そこのキャッチフレーズが「私たちはカロリーを楽しむ」か何かだったと思います（笑）インドでは、ハンバーガーを食べますか？
The catchphrase is something like “We enjoy calories” Haha In India, do people eat hamburger? 

サアチ先生: 食べますよ！マックやケンタッキーがあるので。正直にいうと、あまり多くの人がハンバーガーが好きではないです。インド料理に比べると、それらは味わいがなくて、全然味がいいわけではないです。
They do, only because of McD and KFC. But honestly, not many people like burgers. They are very bland and not at all flavorful compared to Indian food. 

あらたつ先生: なるほど！沖縄では、マックとケンタッキーは人気があります。
I see! In Okinawa, McD and KFC is popular!

サアチ先生: フライドポテトは大好きです。
I love their french fries though. 

あらたつ先生: インド料理も人気があります！特にカレーとナン！
Indian dishes are popular as well! Especially, curry and naan!!!

サアチ先生: おーいいですね！インド料理は食べたことありますか？
Oh, that's nice. Have you tried Indian food?

あらたつ先生: ありますよ！
Yes, I have.

サアチ先生: ナンとカレーはインド料理の一部分でしかありません。
But naan and curry is a very small part of Indian cuisine. 

あらたつ先生: そうなんですか？
Yeah?

サアチ先生: ナンとカレーはインド料理のステレオタイプですね、ちょうど日本でいう寿司のような感じです。
I think they stereotype Indian food with Naan & Curry, just like they stereotype Sushi as the entire Japanese cuisine. 

あらたつ先生: 日本人のほとんどがインドのメイン料理はカレーとナンだと考えていると思います（笑）
I think many Japanese think that main dishes in India are curry and naan! 

サアチ先生: わかります！笑
Haha I know how you feel! 

あらたつ先生: 推薦したお店についてですが雰囲気はおしゃれ。一風変わっていますが（笑）アメリカ人のお客さんもたくさんいます。
As to the restaurant I recommend, the ambiance is really trendy! The interior is peculiar. Haha There are a lot of customers from the US!

サアチ先生: いいですね。
Good.

あらたつ先生: もちろん、ハンバーガーも美味しいです！
Of course, its hamburgers are tasty!

サアチ先生: 食べたいです。
Good.

あらたつ先生: デートで行けば彼氏・彼女は喜ぶと思います。また、沖縄のハンバーガー屋さんは日に日にめちゃくちゃ増えています。人気ってことですね。
If you go for a date there, your partner will be happy with the food. Also, as to the number of hamburger restaurants in Okinawa, it has been increasing day by day! I’d say it means that they are popular.

サアチ先生: いいですね。
Good.

あらたつ先生: ですが、悲しいことに、当たり外れがあります。実際、何度も両方を経験しました（笑）そんな中でも、ボアソルチは今のところNo.1です。もし美味しくなかったら、あなたの舌が狂ってます（笑）
Sadly, however, hamburgers in Okinawa are generally hit and miss. Actually, I have experienced both, many times. Haha Among them, BOASORTE BURGER & BAR is the best for me so far!!!! If you feel the taste is bad, your tongue is crazy! Haha

あらたつ先生: 冗談ですけど、そのレベルでお勧めできます！！！
Though I am just joking, I can recommend it at such a level!!!!
