The board director Mr. Mori explained about JPDA, ASPaC and workshop. Committee member Mr. Fukui then lectured on the trend of souvenir package in Japan. He is a university lecturer and so his talk seemed easy to understand for students. We were happy to see their nodding heads as they listened to an interpreter.

The theme of workshop was how you would renew the package design of “Koala no March”, famous snack by Lotte, even in Thailand.

Roughly 60 students participated in the workshop. We were impressed by their presentations including ideas or packaging forms which could be traced back to their own culture or traditions.
