However, there is no contact at all with the students, and even if you read the explanation on the website, there are many unclear points such as the background and the reasons for the decision and release date of the amount.Some students are the first to learn about it through the press, and they lack sincerity.

As for the reason why I went to the strategic planning department in charge and asked for an explanation individually, the reason why I didn't make it known by e-mail or other means was that when I explained it to students who were not subject to price increases, I fear information.

For the reasonableness of 20 percent, I was left in the air quoting a homepage explanation.

They said they have no plans to hold a briefing session.
It was said that the increase in tuition was applied to examinees who are not currently students and who don't even know if they will pass the test.The need for explanations to such people also did not seem to make the person in charge much of the situation.

I was not told that I would hold a briefing, but I have to say that there is no need to explain both internally and externally, and I have to say that it is a unilateral imposition of the university.

When other students sent letters of inquiry to the Strategy and Planning Division by e-mail, many of the responses were similar to those on the website.
In response to the review of the course of events, it was carried out in accordance with school regulations, and it lacks specifics, making it impossible to say that I have answered questions, and it is very dishonest.

Among the students, there are various speculations and confusion that have been caused by not being explained.
Why this time of year, and who made the decision based on their own will (whether the professors accepted it, etc.) and so on.
Questions have been raised about specific uses such as whether the proceeds from the price increases will be used for the expansion of facilities or for the establishment of new departments, and what the proposals are for arts and music departments that do not focus on enhancing their practical skills.

I have a question about whether to increase the subsidy to make up for the decrease in the subsidy for operating expenses (which the Ministry of Education grants to national university corporations), which make up a lot of the university's income, every year.
For example, the Ministry of Finance has offered a long-term estimate of reducing operating expense grants by 1 percent every year until fiscal 2031, increasing self-income (including tuition) by 1.6 percent every year, and making dependence on operating expense grants the same proportion.
The Strategic Planning Division talked about increasing the burden of raising the consumption tax and electricity rates.
I have doubts about how much of the educational research system and support environment can be expanded through price increases, including the provision of medical treatment to students from university self-income through the enhancement of financial support.

The price increases will have a great impact on examinees who have not yet entered the university, and students who are going on to graduate school and other institutions.
The university's website says it will expand its support for financially straining students, but its size is unknown.
Is it inevitable that the price of 100,000 yen be raised for a person who cannot receive a reduction measure?
It is also written on the website that the equality of opportunity in education should not be undermined, but raising school expenses in the first place may mean widening the economic gap and seizing the equality of opportunity in education.
It goes against the International Covenant on Human Rights, and I think that rather than raise school fees, I should demand that Japan improve its low public expenditure on education, as can be seen in OECD statistical data.

We cannot accept this kind of decision.I would like to request withdrawal of the price increase and hold a briefing session.
