The Magic Globe - Climate Change Facts the Climate Center

I don't remember summer being this hot.

That is an everyday conversation that I am tired of hearing.
Unfortunately, this summer too, Tokyo is hot just to breathe. When I land in cool Copenhagen, I am first relieved both physically and mentally.

I have decided to make this year a "gap year," so I am participating in a study tour in Denmark to learn more about the environment, one of the goals of my trip.

Two hours drive from Copenhagen, I arrived at the Climate Center (Visual Climate Center) on the island of Loran and stepped into a dark room.

"Wow. Beautiful."

There was a globe floating in a soft glow, as if by magic.

This globe shows us, based on data collected from around the world, including NASA, how much the temperature of the sea water is rising, what will happen when the Arctic ice melts, how much the increase in typhoons, how much cesium was spread during the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake...etc. The globe is a visual representation of the facts (data) of climate change, I felt it is like a magic mirror that shows us the facts.

Already Japan was in the tropics by 2012," Leo explained.

I knew it.
I felt strangely relieved that my senses were not mistaken.

The vast volume of explanations about the world's facts about fossil fuel divestment, carbon dioxide reduction, microplastics, garbage, marine life, food production, and so on, was, ah, sobering.

I was Knowing Denmark's attitude and efforts to make the transition to green energy,
My new studio is planning to be powered by solar energy.
We want to be more ecological, as well as reduce our electricity bill,
We are very excited to see how much we can do.

I hope many people are experienced this Climate center, because it is interesting to see how people's eyes and actions change when they learn about it.

My Study tour will continue.
