Motherboard (via The Verge) reports hackers used Russia’s Yandex Taxi ride-hailing app to order dozens of drivers to coverage on Kutuzovsky Prospekt, one of the city’s main thoroughfares.

Fili district of Moscowへの架空の配車依頼を大量にだしたとか?

The event is one of the first known instances of hackers exploiting a ride-hailing app to create a traffic jam.

かも知れませんが、このぐらいじゃロシアはへばらないと思いんですが?

こんな皮肉なメッセージが出てくるんですよね～。

私が驚いたのは、スマートフォンアプリでタクシーを呼び出す話です。

タクシーは白タクに限ると現地人が言っていました。　なぜなら、普通のタクシーは法外な値段だからです。料金メーターなんて使いませんので．．．白タクを使うにはロシア語での値段交渉が必要なので当時ロシア語のできなかった私はもっぱら地下鉄利用でした。

モスクワの地下鉄はかなり発達していたので特に問題ありませんでした。なお、ロシア語は、いまだにたいした理解はできませんが、駅名や路線を知るためキリル文字の読みが出来るようになったのはこのときです（笑）。
