In this installment, we would like to tell you all about our Global Meeting what was held in January.

■Renewal?!

The freshly renewed Global Meeting held in early January connected our members from Japan, Shanghai, and Taipei. 

The reasons why we renewed the meeting are as follows:
　● Department in chrage have changed
　● Management was globalized and there was an increase in numbers of team members
　● The purpose of gathering had to be further developed

To further communicate beBit’s views to the world and to keep us on the same page with one another and moving in the same direction, the following changes were made:

　●Fujii-san, our CCO (Chief Communication Officer), was asked to moderate the meeting, and the MCO was in charge of the operations (The arrangements were also made by Fujii-san)
　●The format was updated
　●The content was structured to raise awareness of individual perspectives as well as sharing the overall situation of the company

Additionally, the English materials were translated by Kenny in order to improve clarity, resulting in a changed meeting. 

The flow of the global meeting itself has not changed significantly from the previous meetings, but the meeting in Japan took place completely online rather than in-person in order to prevent the spread of Covid.

■What was the meeting about?

As it was the New Year, Endo-san, the CEO of beBit, greeted us first. He wished everyone a Happy New Year in English and Chinese.

Then, Nakajima-san, our Executive Vice President, who is in charge of the Japan Region, announced the organizational changes and gave a detailed explanation of the goals, challenges, and objectives. Jason-san, who is in charge of our Shanghai and Taipei regions, spoke about the market situation, future prospects, and strategies for his regions.

■How each region presented

Since the meeting in Japan was held completely online, we were not able to see each other in person, but some members were able to participate locally in Taipei, including Jason-san. Here’s a photo of the meeting!

I hope that next time we hold this meeting in Japan, we can gather in the Seminar Hall of our Tokyo office. 

■Conclusion

For those who participated, I hope that this meeting reflected on last year’s efforts and accomplishments and allowed you to review this year's goals!

Personally, I was able to reflect on 2022, a year with a lot of change, and renew my commitment towards my goals while remaining flexible to change in 2023. I’m looking forward to what this upcoming year has in store for us!
