I also have several wounds on my body that have not yet healed. The one is on my left wrist. I broke the wrist about ten years ago. One day when I was in a snowy local town on business, I was on a walk on a road with a lot of snow. Then, I suddenly slipped and fell off. At that moment, I broke my wrist. It was so painful that I rolled around in the snow. I tried to get up, but I could not do so because I could not support myself without using my left arm. I was embarrassed but struggled to find a way to get up. Then, I heard a voice offering to help me. It came from a lady, and she gave me her hands to help me get up. And she took me to a nearby hospital for first aid. One week later, I had operations on the wrist in a hospital near my home. As a result, my left wrist has come to work well, but not as well it as before. And it is still thicker than the right one. However, I have no complaints about it as long as it continues to work as it is.
I have wounds on my hips, too. As I wrote many times, I had a hip replacement a long time ago. It enabled my hips to work well, but not enough for me to walk as well as before. So I struggle to improve my gait as I go for a walk every day.
It has been a long time since I began to live with these wounds. It tells me that no quick remedy is available for the wounds. In other words, I will have to keep living with them until the end of my life.

　肉体的にも「癒えない傷」があります。その一つが左手の手首です。10年位前に骨折したのです。雪国に出張していたある日、雪まみれの道を歩いていました。その時、突然、すべって転んでしまい、左手首を折りました。転んだ時は、あまりの痛さで、雪の中でのたうち回っていました。立ち上がろうとしたのですが、左手が使えないため、立ち上がれませんでした。うろたえながらも、立ち上がろうとしていた時に「手を貸しましょうか」という声が聞こえてきました。女性の方で、立ち上がるのに手を貸してくれました。更に、近くの病院まで連れて行って売れました。その病院で応急処置をしてもらい、1週間後に家の近所の病院で手術を受けました。その結果、手首はうまく動くようになったのですが、以前ほどではありませんでした。また、いまだに、右手首より太いです。でも、今の状態であれば、文句を言うほどではありません。
　ボクには、股関節にも傷があります。何度も記事にしたように、ずっと前に人工股関節の手術を受けました。そのおかげ、股関節はうまく動くようになったのですが、以前のように上手には歩けません。そのため、毎日ウオーキングをしながら、歩き方を良くしようともがいています。
　これらの傷を抱えた生活が長くなりました。そして、これらには即効薬ないことがわかりました。最後まで付き合うしかなようです。
