My mind is always fickle and changeable. I was hooked on an overseas TV drama series which had not attracted me earlier. It was "Downton Abbey", a British TV drama series. I had known it was available on WOWOW On Demand. But it did not attract me since I loved to watch suspense dramas at the time. However, the death of Queen Elizabeth II changed my mind. I was eager to see a film or TV drama which could make me commemorate her. Then, I began to watch and got hooked on the British drama series. It consists of six seasons and fifty-five episodes in total.
In the beginning, I watched it leisurely. But I found it would be unavailable on WOWOW ON DEMAND at the end of September. It prompted me to increase the number of times to watch it a day. And I finished watching all episodes in two weeks. I have still basked in the afterglow.

　ボクの心は移ろいやすいものです。今まで興味がまったくなかった海外ドラマにあることがきっかけで急にはまりました。そのドラマとは、英国ドラマの「ダウントン・アビー」です。このドラマがWOWOWオンデマンドで視聴できることは以前から知っていました。でも、サスペンスものが好きなボクは、あまり興味が持てませんでした。ところが、エリザベス女王の死去をきっかけに気持ちが変わりました。女王のことを少しでも偲べるドラマか映画が見たくなったのです。そこで、以前から知っていた「ダウントン・アビー」を見る気になったのです。いざ見てみると、めちゃくちゃ面白くてはまってしまいました。このドラマは6シーズンもあり、全55回の長編です。見始めたころはのんびりと見ていたのですが、このドラマが9月30日に終了することが分かり、慌てて、見る回数を増やして、2週間で全55回を見終えました。今は、その余韻にしたっています。
