The other day, I read articles about school excursions. They fascinated me a lot. They were the works by Chise-san, k-maru-san and Mayu-san. They reminded me of my school excursions. I had my first one when I was 12 years old in primary school. I went to the Ise Shima area in Mie. I toured Meoto-Iwa, Ise Jingu (Ise Shrine) and others. I have a few memories of the tour. One of them is that I had to walk a lot from the bus parking lot to Naigu or Gaigu in Ise Jingu. But what I will never forget about the excursion is that the souvenirs from the tour were too heavy. Before I went on the tour, my mother ordered Akafuku Mochi as my souvenirs from it. I got them when I was about to leave Ise by train. Then, I was surprised to see that they were very heavy. I had to carry them from Ise to my home. My mother had ordered them too much.
When I was 15 years old and in junior high school, I had my second school excursion and went to the Izu Peninsula and Mt.Fuji. What I still remember clearly about it is the Izu Peninsula earthquake. It was one of the largest earthquakes in Japan. When it occurred. I was on my way to somewhere on the peninsula by bus. Then, all of a sudden, the bus bumped, and immediately, the driver stopped it. The driver's decision was right and saved my life. A huge rock rolled down in front of the bus and would have hit the bus if the driver had continued. The earthquake caused serious damage to the peninsula. But my teachers decided to continue the journey

先日、修学旅行に関する記事を読みました。どれも読んで楽しかったです。千世さん、k-maruさんとまゆさんの作品です。これを読んで、ボクの修学旅行の記憶が蘇ってきました。小学生の時は、伊勢志摩に行き、夫婦岩や伊勢神宮を訪れました。色々思いではありますが、その一つが、伊勢神宮にいった時にえらい歩いたことです。バスの駐車場から内宮か外宮にいった際に、すごく歩いた記憶があります。でも、一番よく覚えているのは、旅行のお土産がえらい重かったことです。お袋が、旅行出発前に土産として赤福餅を注文していたのです。伊勢を離れる前に、この土産をもらったのですが、あまりに重くびっくりしました。これを伊勢から家まで抱えて帰りました。お袋が注文しすぎたのです。
中学校は、伊豆半島と富士山にいきました。この時の一番の記憶は、日本で最大級の伊豆半島沖地震です。地震が発生した時、ボクはバスで伊豆半島のどこかへ向かっていました。そしたら突然、バスが揺れ、ドライバーが緊急停止しました。このドライバーの判断が正しかったおかげで、ボクは命拾いをしました。バスの前に、巨大な岩が転げ落ちていたのです。バスの運転を続けていれば、ボクは岩に衝突しているところでした。伊豆半島は地震で大きな被害を受けましたが、ボクの先生たちは旅行を続けると決めました。
