I am now reading Thomas Hobbes’ Leviathan. Several publishers have translated it into Japanese. Among them is the version by Kobunsha, which I am now reading. The Kobunsha version has a good translation and is easy to read. I started the reading in January. But I have not yet finished the first volume. The book is fun to read but hard to understand. I need more time to read and understand a page of the book than other books. I am going to read the second volume as soon as finishing the first volume. But I do not expect to understand the book completely and will have to read it again and again. The book could be the work that keeps with me for my remaining life.
Thus, I am still messed up in the head and cannot afford to summarize the first volume. But I was so interested in the part that details contracts.

　今、トーマス ホッブスの『リヴァイアサン』読んでいます。この本の翻訳が数社から出版されています。その中で僕が読んでいるのは、光文社版です。光文社版の翻訳はすばらしく、読みやすいです。この本を読み始めたのが1月です。でも、まだ第一巻が読み終わりません。読むのは楽しいのですが、理解するのが難しいです。1ページを理解するのに他の本より時間を要します。第一巻が終わり次第、第二巻を読み進める予定ですが、1回で理解できるとは思えません。この本は何度も読まないと理解できそうにありません。この本は、bボク残りの生涯を共にする本になるかもしれません。
従って、頭の中は混乱状態で、読んだ所を要約できるレベルにありません。ただ、契約を詳述した部分は非常に興味深かったです。
