The Hanshin Tigers had been in a slump since the interleague play began. It also lost to the Yokohama Baysters three times in a row. As a result, it fell out of first for a moment. It was clear that it was in a batting slump. But it is not so serious because the team has been through such slumps many times in the previous seasons. So I have no choice but to put up with it and wait for them to get out of it. I was frustrated when the team lost more than they won. But the players and the manager must have been more frustrated than me. I could see how frustrated they were in the interviews between the manager and the press.
During that time, I tried to get rid of it by watching comedy shows. As usual, I watched a lot of Sama-san’s ones. But it was not good enough to remove it, and I watched other comedy shows on video. Among them was ‘Wide na Show’ which I liked the most. It is a long-running TV show which is hosted by Koji Hgashino. Until March 2023, it was co-hosted by Hitoshi Matsumoto. But he left for another show and is now being replaced by several comedians. One of them is my favourite Koji Imada, who attends it every two weeks. Since he joined the show, it has changed and has made me laugh more than ever. I love watching them have funny talks.

　阪神タイガースが交流戦以来、不調でした。横浜ベイスターズにも3連敗してしましい、一時は、首位を明け渡してしまいました。原因は、はっきりしています。打線の低迷です。でも、それほど深刻ではありません。過去に、なんどもこんな経験はしてきました。我慢するしかありません。見ている方も、負けが込むとイライラしますが、やっている選手や監督はもっとイライラしていると思います。岡田監督の語録がそれを如実に示しています。
　こんな時は、お笑いを見て、笑ってイライラを吹き飛ばすにかぎります。相変わらず、さんまさんの番組を中心にみました。でも、それだけでは足らず、ビデオで他のお笑い場組をみました。その中で、一番面白かったのが、「ワイドナショー」です。東野幸治さんが司会の長寿番組です。今年の3月までは、松本人志さんも共演されていたのですが、別の番組に移られました。そのため、別のお笑い芸人さんが出演しています。その一人が、ボクが大好きな今田耕司さんです。今田さんは、隔週で出演されます。今田さんが出演以来、番組の雰囲気が変わり、今までにないくらい面白いです。今田さんと東野さんのやりとりは見ものです。
