On June 18, Father's Day, as usual, I got up early and began my routine. I was not expecting anything special to happen that day. This is because there was nothing special on the same day last year. But in the late morning, a delivery driver came to my flat and rang the doorbell to deliver a parcel. It was a big surprise to my wife and me since neither of us had done any online shopping in the last few days. It was our daughter who had sent us the parcel. It was addressed to my wife, but I expected it to be for me or at least to contain something for me, as it was delivered on Father's Day. As soon as we received it, we opened it and found three bottles of craft coffee made by Rokumei Coffee in Nara. As coffee lovers, we were very pleased with them. They looked very tasty, but we have not yet tasted them. They are great gifts, but are too valuable for us to taste. They are still in the fridge.

　先日の父の日のことです。昨年はこの日に何もなかったので、今年も何もないだろうと思って過ごしていました。そしたら、突然、宅配ドライバーが来たのです。妻もボクもオンランで買い物をした覚えがなかったのでびっくりです。何が届いたのかと思って、差出人を確認したら、娘からでした。宛名は、妻あてになっていましたが、この日に届いたということは、ボクの分も含まれているのではないかと期待しながら荷物を開けました。そしたら、クラフトコーヒーの3本セットが入っていました。妻もボクもコーヒーは大好きなので、大歓迎です。奈良県のロクメイコーヒーという会社のコーヒーでした。すごくおいしそうです。でも、ありがたいやら、もったいないやらで、まだ飲んでいません。大事に、冷蔵庫に保管しています。
