This time, DiscoverFeed's Metaverse project has partnered with famous clubs and top DJs around the world, and the core currency, DMCCOIN, can be used at partner clubs and event venues.

This may sound simple, but it is a serious matter. Moreover, considering that a Japanese company was doing this, I was impressed by how amazing it was, so I went to experience the Metaverse space for myself!

Until now, I have been watching several Metaverse projects, but the majority of them are aimed at developing Metaverse space, or even if they are developed, they are only for one facility, and are projects of a scale that can be deployed in the global market. I had never seen it before.
Will it recreate not just one club, but 75 Top Clubs around the world?
Will the world's top DJs play? The scale of this project is hard to believe.

There have been many stories about how such metaverse projects often only announce plans and are never implemented.
I thought I had no choice but to try it out for myself to see if DiscoverFeed was real, so I accessed SEL OCTAGON TOKYO's Metaverse Club, which is currently open to the public.

Below is the experience report.

• When I accessed it, I entered a room that looked like a plaza. There was something that looked like a SEL OCTAGON TOKYO door, and when I clicked on it, I was able to enter the SEL OCTAGON TOKYO Metaverse Club.

• When you enter the room, there are several avatars already there, and there is a monitor in the DJ booth that broadcasts videos of the DJ's performance.

• Nicknames were displayed for the avatars, and the avatars were chatting with each other. (Unfortunately, I couldn't follow the conversation because it was in English.) By the way, it seems that you can also have a voice conversation.

• There is a movement program for your avatar, so you can perform your favorite dance.

• There is a camera button so you can take a photo to commemorate your entrance.

• You can send invitations to your friends on SNS.

At a glance, I was able to confirm this functionality.

It's still a demo app, so it's likely that various functions will be expanded in the future, but since I've never listened to club music or been to a club, I feel like it's enough to simulate a club experience. I received it.

What I felt the most was that the essential theory of Metaverse clubs has the potential of becoming a new SNS for the Web 3.0 era.

In the real world, I can't easily call out to others, but in the Metaverse Club, I can easily do so. Also, people who met at Metaverse Club might meet each other at a real club, so I felt the possibilities were endless.
