意気込んではみるものの継続することが難しいことの一つに英語学習があるのではないでしょうか？

I've always wished to be able to speak English vaguely, and though I have harbored that aspiration until this age (I'm 39 ✨), I haven't earnestly studied it.
ずっと漠然と英語を話せたらいいな、、、と憧れを持ちつつこの年になるまで（39歳です✨）本気で勉強してきませんでした😢

However, I felt that life wouldn't change if I continued like this! So, I started studying from the end of 2023.
しかしこのままでは人生が何も変わらない！と思い2023年末から勉強を開始しました。

From 2022 to 2023, I learned video editing and shooting techniques, and I felt a sense of my life gradually changing.
2022~2023は動画編集と撮影についての技術を学び、人生が少しずつ変わる予感を感じました。

However, both English, video editing, and shooting techniques are means to achieve something, not ends in themselves.
しかし、英語も動画編集も撮影技術も何かを成し遂げるための手段でありそれ自体が目的ではありません。

Yes! What do I want to achieve in life? Who do I want to become?
そうです！人生において何を成し遂げたいか？何者になりたいのか？

Don't you think that making it clear and achieving those goals is the most important? I believe so.
それを明確にして達成すことこそが最も大切だと思いませんか？
私はそう思います。

動画編集も撮影も英語も強力なツールです。

As mentioned earlier, I love cherry salmon fishing.
冒頭にも記載しましたが私はサクラマス釣りが好きです。

I'll briefly explain the current situation of cherry salmon; their numbers are steadily decreasing.
サクラマスの現状について少しだけ説明しますと、彼らの数は減少の一途を辿っています。

I might not know the details of the reasons for the decline, but factors such as rising sea temperatures and deterioration of breeding environments are considered.
減少している原因について私も詳しくは知りませんが、海水温の上昇・繁殖環境の悪化などが考えられます。

While it's acknowledged that their numbers are declining, there is little regulation regarding the capture of cherry salmon, including fishing and commercial fishing.
減少しているという事実はわかっていますが、サクラマスを捕獲（釣りや魚漁獲といった）するということに関しての規制はほとんど存在しません。

While the number of captures by anglers may be relatively small compared to the overall population, I believe anglers also need to consider their relationship with cherry salmon.
釣り人が捕獲している数は全体からすると少数かもしれませんが、釣り人もサクラマスとの付き合い方は考えなければならないと思います。

Although I am still studying, Western countries have quite strict rules in place for trout fishing, and I believe these regulations are deeply ingrained in the mindset of anglers.
勉強中ではありますが欧米諸国はトラウトフィッシングにおいてもかなり厳格なルールが定められており、釣り人の精神の根底にも根付いているのではないかと思います。

I don't have experience abroad, but I want to learn English, go fishing overseas, and understand the local perspectives on fishing and nature. That's why I started studying English!"
