도모에(Tomoe) 객실은 1925년 개업 이후 변함없이 일본의 미적 감각을 형상화한 분위기로 디자인되었습니다. 각 객실은 독특한 풍경을 갖추고 있으며, 유명 문인이 쓴 두루마리와 사진 액자가 제공됩니다. 토모에와 인연이 있는 비즈니스 리더들이 당시의 모습과 옷차림을 보여줍니다. 전체 편백나무로 지어진 별도의 건물에는 2개의 특별실인 하쿠바이와 코바이, 그리고 VIP 룸의 세 개의 방만 있습니다. 객실로 이어지는 격자문을 열면 편백나무 향이 먼저 반겨줍니다.

The Tomoe guest rooms have remained unchanged since it first opened in 1925, and were designed for an atmosphere that gives shape to the Japanese sense of aesthetics.
Each room features unique scenery, and is provided with scrolls written by and framed photos of famed literary figures and business leaders with connections to Tomoe, showing how they looked and dressed at the time.
A separate building constructed entirely of Japanese cypress houses just three rooms: the two special rooms Hakubai and Kobai and the VIP room. The aroma of cypress greets you when you first slide open the lattice door that leads into the room. These are luxurious and deeply atmospheric Japanese-style rooms where time passes slowly and quietly.Enjoy a slow, relaxing experience in comfortable tranquility and warm hospitality.
大正14年、創業時から変わらぬ常茂恵の客室は、日本人の美意識を形にした、趣ある“純和風数寄屋造り”。約2700坪の敷地面積のうち1000坪余を庭にあて、部屋数も24室にとどめゆったりとした配置に。
館内や客室には、ゆかりの文人、財界人の軸や額を当時の姿のまましつらえており歴史ある萩の文化に触れることもできます。1Fご指定の客室には、趣の異なった四季折々の美しい日本庭園を眼前に眺める事が出来る空間をご用意しております。特別な日に大切な人と、心安らぐひと時をゆっくりお過ごしくださいませ。

각각의 계절을 느끼면서, 봐도 먹어도 즐길 수 있는 요리를 만든다. 그것이, 당관의 요리에 일관하는 정신입니다. 또, 토지의 것을, 그 토지에서 받는 것을 소중히, 생선은 하기 근해의 것, 야채도 일본 국산의 그 때때로의 맛있는 것을 사용합니다.

それぞれの季節を感じながら、見ても食べても楽しめる料理を作る。それが、当館の料理に一貫する精神です。また、土地のものを、その土地でいただくことを大切に、魚は萩近海のもの、野菜も日本国産のその時々の美味しいものを使用します。
We create dishes that are both enjoyable to look at and to eat, with a sense of each season. That is the spirit that runs through our cuisine. We also place importance on eating local food, so we use fish from the Hagi area and delicious vegetables from Japan at the time.
