くまさん一行は、平江路から道をそれました。蘇州の町を歩いていたくまさん達は、北寺塔（ベイスーター）という場所にやってきました。これは三国時代に呉の孫権が母に報いるために建立した8角9層の塔で、蘇州で最も古くて規模が大きい建物です。高さは76mもあります。その建物を眺めるくまさん一行。実は塔の存在が有名ですが、実は報恩寺という仏教寺院の中にあるということを確認したくまさん達なのでした。
