Hello everyone.
My name is Dokata Toshimitsu. OfCourse it is a handle-name.
In this page I use the name Dokatanglish. It means Dokata's English.

I am a licensed English tour guide for foreign visitors.
I am proud of being Japanese and love our history and culture, so I do want to introduce our history and sprits to the world.
I write this note in English because English is the most popular language on this planet.
Nowadays, there are some gadgets to translate language, but I don't use such ones I only use my words. I am not a native speaker of English so you may find some mistakes or strange expressions. But I think those are tastes of Dokatanglish. Please laugh or enjoy. 

About history, especially I like samurai and one of my favorite samurai is Hijikata Toshizo. 
I use his picture for my icon. 
Kanji character of Hijikata Toshizo can be read Dokata Toshimitsu. 
My name came from it.
 土方歳三 could be read Hijikata Toshizo and Dokata Toshimitsu.
Hijikata Toshizo was the sub leader of Shinsengumi which was the special task force against terrorism in the end of Edo era.
Shinsengumi fought for the Imperial court and the Shogun who was the leader of all samurai.
Unfortunately, they lost. But we Japanese feel a kind of beauty from their living ways.
I am not sure I can tell you how great they were, but I will do my best.
  

Not only samurai but also, I am going to write how wonderful Japanese history, splendid culture, customs and so on.
I am a licensed guide which means I am approved by Japanese government to earn money by English. So, I charge for my English articles. 
If you are foreigners, you can learn about Japan from my articles.
If you are Japanese but you want to know how express Japanese history in English, you are able to know how to say Japanese things in English.

Actually, my opinion about history is little bit strange from ordinally people. 
I mean I like legend, occult, conspiracy.
If you want to know strange and deeper history, I recommend my articles strongly.

I like cooking too.
So, on this note, I write about historical things and people with cooking.
You can lean history and cooking on the same time.
It is the unique point of my page.
Mainly I cook and eat vegetables and fruits. Iam a semi-vegetarian.
I cook and eat fish, eggs, butter and cheese too. I don't cook and eat meat and milk.
But I am not a strict vegan. So, in some cases, I use such ones. 
For example, if there are only meat menu in a restaurant, or someone gives me meat. In such cases, I don't want to waste them, so I eat.
Japanese custom, we say "Itadakimasu" before meals.
It means "I will have it" But I think it has more important meaning.
We have to eat other one's life to live.
We have to thank for lives to feed ourselves.
