Agree or disagree: The number of young people who live with their parents after they finish their education will increase in the future.

【POINTS】 Convenience / Cost of living / Personal freedom / Safety
Nowadays, the problem of young people living with their parents after completing their education has become a controversial issue in Japan. Although some argue that they don’t have to live with their parents, I strongly believe that the number of young people who live with their parents after they finish their education will increase in the future for the following two reasons.

 
Firstly, it is more economical to live with their parents. A report issued by Osaka University, for example, shows that a worldwide recession has led to fewer jobs being available for young people. Moreover, the cost of living has been increasing, making living alone after education very expensive. In this situation, they need to reduce their cost of living, which is also beneficial for their parents.

 
Additionally, living with their parents will bring young people a lot of conveniences. So, young people can share household chores with their parents and help each other in many ways.

 
In conclusion for the above-mentioned two reasons, the lower cost of living, and the convenience, there is no doubt in the future that more and more young people will live with their parents after completing their education.
