I agree that children should begin studying a foreign language as soon as they start school for a lot of different reasons. I believe that the three most common reasons are to be able to learn languages easily at this age, to be interested in the world, and to need to work.

The first reason is that it is easy to learn English at this age. Children should start learning English as soon as they start school because the human brain can adapt to new information at this age. For example, mastering the pronunciation of foreign languages is much easier for young children than it is for adults. Also, they have a lot of time to study foreign languages. If they begin to study English at younger ages, they can learn English much more.

The second reason is that Japanese students today required to study English from a young age. This means that young Japanese people are better at English than previous generations. As a result, they are more likely to be interested in visiting other countries and using their English skills. Also, large cities in Japan are beginning to have more and more restaurants and shops featuring products from abroad. Because of this, young people are becoming more interested in foreign cultures.

The third reason is that the number of English speakers is increasing around the world now. So, if they learn English more, they can work at some places around the world. These days, English ability is extremely important for young people’s careers. Many companies are starting to require high English skills for new employees. So, if they want to work in Japan, they absolutely need high English abilities.
