"Twitter Blue" is showing up on my Twitter Account finally 

I was having a busy day and when I noticed this little indication "Twitter Blue" I screamed in my mind "YES YES YES !"  

New features include below but what matters to me are :  

• Edit Tweet: Edit tweet within 30 min.  (This is nice ! I'm not a native English speaker and make typos all the time. It would be super convenient if I could correct my typo before it is published.)

• Undo Tweet:  Preview and revise your Tweet before it’s posted publicly and you can Undo your Tweet up to max 60 seconds, with a choice between 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds or 60 seconds. (I think I would prefer edit tweet but if it is simple tweet and simple typos, undo tweet might be nice. I need to use it first and see if I like it.)

• Longer video upload:  Upload videos up to ~60 minutes long up to 2GB file size (1080p) via web only, and upload videos up to 10 minutes long on iOS and Android.  Even if you are not an Twitter Blue subscriber, you can still upload videos up to 4 minutes in length on any platform. ( I love is as I upload many videos and having less hustle to keep the video short is great and time saver, and it would be good for my followers. However, non subscriber can also upload up to 4min, high quality image can be loaded as well, so I need to see if it makes a huge difference.  this might be good for creators who shares longer music, videos, and talk) 

• Bookmark folders: Organize Bookmarked Tweets into folders for faster discovery later. ( Nice ! this was one of the reason why I did not use Bookmark, but not I might use Bookmark more often.) 

• Custom app icons: You can change how your Twitter App icon displays on your phone with several colorful options. ( not so much relevant for me)

• Themes: Choose from colorful options for your app theme. ( not so much relevant for me)

• Custom navigation: You can choose what appears in your navigation bar, so you get quick access to the content and Twitter destinations you care about most. ( This is a time saver) .

• Top Articles: A shortcut to the most-shared articles in your Twitter network. ( This is a time saver and increase the chance of what I want to read)

• Reader: Turn long threads into a more beautiful reading experience. ( This is good for me and good for my follwers.  Easier reading) 

• Prioritized rankings in conversations: This feature prioritizes your replies on Tweets that you interact with. (This might be good or might not be good.  The frequency of interaction is not exactly equal to real interest level. I have to see how it goes)

How to save - Sign up via Web to save 40%.  sign up via iphone App is much more expensive

I was going to complete the sign up and noticed the pricing is 1,380 Yen. Was it that expensive? Wait! 

Web version is cheaper than iphone app version.  Phew…, it was close! 

This seems to be a choice by Twitter company that move was likely a pushback against Apple Inc's 30% cut on any payments made by users via apps on the iOS operating system.  Detail article can be found below.

Don't change your Twitter profile photo / account name / display name

I have to confess,,,,, I need to wait 3 days more before I use it, because I changed my Twitter display name yesterday. If I knew this was coming, I would not have changed it.  If you are contemplating Twitter Blue, don't touch your Twitter account address / display name and profile photo. Be careful :-)

I am happy with new features for now but feel the pricing is high.  Honestly speaking, I think some of features should be available for free or at much cheaper cost.      I will update after I use new features more and see if it is worth paying for the price.
