Possibly a drink in his hand. Proceeds in the direction of the shinny VW.

VW guy heads to the entrance of Famili-ma after he deemed himself presentable.
I watched him because he is in my view. No special reason.

3 seconds later a man wearing black pants, black shirt, black glasses, and a black beanie walks out of the store.

Surprised, because 20 seconds ago I watched VW guy groom himself and black glasses guy walk out of the store.
I quickly look 22 seconds distance ahead of the black pants guy and see no one that fits the same description. Only the road.

Same direction, same manner, same clothes, and possibly a drink in his hand?

Deja vu is French. It sounds like a name of a hot stripper in a bar in San Diego. Come to think of it, if my wife was named Deja vu, I'd be completely satisfied.
That's just my man inside being a man outside.
Though the word rolling off your tongue with an emphasis on the "Ja" and a drawn out stress of "vu" sounds nice.
