You get an active motivation to do or have to do, and you take action. Here are three things to keep in mind when you decide to take various actions.

① The first caveat is that you must act rationally if you want to do it.

 Don't let your emotions dictate your instinctive behavior. For example, when you are awakened to a sense of justice, you take action to correct the mistakes that are in front of you. If you continue to act instinctively at this time, such as scolding others in public, you become, so to speak, a smug hypocrite.
 To act rationally in this case is to aim to become a police officer to protect justice in the world. Many people are not used to controlling their behavior by rationally grasping their motives, but if you compare it to Japanese martial arts, it can be rephrased as always having a sense of normalcy.
 Both instinctive and rational actions are based on your own motivation, it would have the opposite result, so it's important to control your emotions and act rationally when acting on your motivation.

② When motivated, you can all take shortcuts.

 You are already at a different starting point than the average person, so you should take actions that lead to shortcuts. Let's say you become a pastry chef and have an incentive to provide food satisfaction. A detour means going to cooking school to master the Iroha of pastry chef skills. Most people who take courses in cooking schools and go to vocational schools have no active motivation.

 Positions are very different between you who are actively motivated and people who go to vocational schools. You don't have to be caught up in the conventional wisdom.

 Your shortcut of choice is to meet a professional pastry chef with all the help you can get. Having a professional in that field guide you is the quickest way for you to get motivated and earn a sense of mission to become a pastry chef. If you went to a vocational school, by the time you graduate, your enthusiasm might have cooled.
 What you expect from a professional is not to be taught advanced skills or to see what they are capable of. Because professionals guide you on the mission of why you become a pastry chef and why.

 The reason for being a professional is not the instruction of tactics, but the person who imparts strategies. Serving a professional as a mentor will further solidify your motivation and give you a broader view of the path.

③ Dares to hurdle difficult and high.

 Actions that are consistent with your own values will give you a sense of mission and help you maintain high motivation over time. It gives you 10,000 hours of unrelenting effort and high skill. It's not the presence of talent that matters, but the presence of a sense of mission. Stop questioning your own talents at this point, or being pessimistic when you realize your limits.

 To give an example of a high hurdle that requires a long period of effort
to
Memorize and learn languages daily to become a multilingual international agent
Learn all the laws and take the bar exam to become a lawyer
Repeat multifaceted and basic training to become a top athlete
Repeat basic drawing exercises to become a painter
Repeat knife sharpening, kitchen cleaning and preparation work to become a three-star chef
and so on.
 This may seem like an extreme example, but I want you to realize that you have more options like this.

 If you take action while keeping these three points in mind, you will make a difference.

 If you take action with an active motive and continue to behave rationally for a long time, you will develop a high character before you know it. Your personality will change as you gain values based on reason: love, contribution, cooperation, courtesy, trust, responsibility, tolerance, and frugality.
These self-transformations don't happen like mutations. It is a wonderful treasure that can be acquired as a result of daily efforts and self-improvement. You'll notice that your friendships around you will change and your likes and dislikes will change.

 This change in environment creates new values for you and leads to a turning point.

 You find your place in life on your own. That's where your talents will surely blossom. When it shines, the mission is always accomplished. You can use all of your abilities to do what is valuable to you. With even higher values, new motivations and new missions await. This is the moment we hit a turning point.
