（４）Tom's letter (           ) my sister very happy.

           = Bob (            ) (             ) (             ) playing the guitar.
（８）I met him at the flower shop by chance.

【解答】
（１）Are you students? - Yes, (    we     ) (   are    ).
　　　studentsなので、youはあなた方。
（２）We arrived here (    an     ) hour ago.
　　　hourは母音の発音をするからan。
（３）My friend plays the piano very well.
           = My friend is a (    good    ) (  pianist    ).
　　　aがあるからうしろは名詞が必要。名詞を修飾する形容詞のgood。
（４）Tom's letter (   made    ) my sister very happy.
　　　make 人 形容詞。人を形容詞にさせる。
（５）I go to school on foot every morning.
          = I (   walk    ) (     to      ) school every morning.
　　　on footがないため、walkという動詞を使う。
（６）Hurry up, (    or      ) you will be late for school.
　　　命令文 ,　のうしろが悪い内容のときはorを使う。be late for：遅れる
（７）Bob can play the guitar well.
           = Bob (    is    ) (    good       ) (     at      ) playing the guitar.
　　　wellがないため、得意という意味に書きかえる。
（８）I met him at the flower shop by chance.
          = I came (   across    ) him at the flower shop.
　　　by chance：偶然。　come across：出くわす
（９）Let's play soccer when school is over.
           = Let's play soccer (    after      ) (   school     ).
　　　学校が終わる時、つまり放課後。
（１０）Take the bus, and you will get to the station.
               = The bus will (    take      ) (    you     ) to the station.
　　　　take 人 to 場所：人を場所へ連れていく。
