劇中に歌われる"Lucky to Be Me"という曲がある。

ジャズではBill EvansやMonica Zetterlund,Tony Bennettなどによる素晴らしい録音があり、自分は"On the Town"よりも前にこの曲に出会っている。

以前、アメリカジャズ界伝説のヴォーカリストSheila Jordanとの共演という大変光栄な経験をした際に私はこの曲を初めて演奏した。その時は彼女の歌があまりに感動的で不覚にも私はステージ上で涙を流しながらアドリブソロをした思い出がある。「いつか自分のレパートリーに」と思いつつなかなか演奏するタイミングが来なかったのだが、今回原曲を演奏するということで本当に縁を感じている。。。
