私が1人で初めて飛行機に乗ったのは大学生の時でした。

フランスの大学に留学することになり、初めての飛行機＝国際線というなかなかハードな経験だったのを覚えています。

国際線のチケットをなくして探すのに1週間かかったり、パスポートの申請がギリギリでなんとか受け取ったり、てんやわんやしていました。

今思い返せばいい思い出ですが、ちょっと無茶苦茶でしたね。

（出発の２日前まで期末試験があったので、それに集中する必要があったのです）

それが今や国内線はもとより、海外の空港まで電車感覚で利用するようになりました。

頻繁に利用する空港（CDG、HNL、TPE、HKG、BKK、DMK）は、もはや庭のような歩き方をしています。

今日は私がよく質問される「空港って何分前に行けばいいの?」にお答えします。こんなご時世なので、今回は国内線版です。

国内線の場合、飛行機に乗るまでに通るゲートは2つ

日本国内の旅行であれば、2つのゲートの締め切り時間さえ守れば大丈夫です。
1つ目は、保安検査場。
2つ目は、搭乗ゲートです。

①保安検査場

保安検査場は、空港が運営している手荷物検査です。
刃物や可燃性液体等をカバンに入れていないか、X線による検査を行います。

T字カミソリならば大丈夫ですが、眉毛用など一本刃の場合は刃体4cm以下であることが必要。それ以上長い物は、その場で廃棄させられます。

よく検査に引っかかるのは、ナイフです。
「ナイフ」と名前がつくものである場合は、どんなに小さなものでもアウトになってしまいます！

カッターナイフはもちろん、5ミリほどしか刃が出ていないデザインナイフでもダメですし、十徳ツールに付いているナイフ部分も持ち込み禁止です。ちなみに、ハサミ、爪切りは持ち込みOK。

逆に、意外に思われるかもしれませんが、ライターは1つまで機内に持ち込むことができます。

この保安検査場を通過する締め切りは、飛行機離陸時間の20分前。

②搭乗ゲート

搭乗ゲートは、各航空会社の飛行機に乗るためのゲート（改札口）です。
LCCや一部飛行機の場合は、バスで移動して飛行機の近くから歩いて搭乗する場合があります。

JAL/ANA/スカイマークなど大手キャリアの場合は、自動改札機にQRコード等をピッとやって乗り込みます。

ここのゲートの締切が、出発10分前です。
電車のような感覚で3分前にゲートに行ったとしても、もう乗ることができないので注意が必要です。

チケットに書いてある出発時刻は、飛行機が動き出す時刻

電車と違って、飛行機にはチケットに書いてある出発時間の10分前までに搭乗していなければなりません。

飛行機は動き出してからまず滑走路に移動し、それから離陸をします。そのため、ゲートが早く閉まるのです。

保安検査済通過していれば航空会社は人数が合っていないことがわかりますので、アナウンスをしてくれます。
「日本航空◯◯便大阪伊丹行きにご搭乗予定の◯◯様」と呼ばれますが、とても迷惑をかけるので気をつけましょう。
機内に乗り込んでから「お前かよ……」という視線を向けられます。

これまじできっっついからやめようね！！！！！

国内線保安検査場締切時刻が15分前→20分前に変更された

2019年10月27日より、保安検査場の締め切り時刻が15分前→20分前に繰り上げられました。

2019年11月頃はこのことを知らない乗客がいたため、一応お目こぼしがあったようです。

しかし2020年に入ってからは、容赦なく20分前に締め切られます。

古い旅行ガイド等を参考にしていると、締め切り時刻が15分前と記載されたままだったりするので、注意しましょう。

私の場合は羽田空港駅に離陸25分前に到着する

私は品川から京急線を利用して羽田空港国内線ターミナル駅に到着します。

いつも離陸の25分前、つまり保安検査場締め切りの5分前です。

これは『どのルートを通ったら最短距離で保安検査場に到着できるか』をわかっているからですが、もう一つ理由があります。それは優先搭乗レーンです。

飛行機の離陸が迫っているお客さんを案内する、保安検査場の優先レーンがあるんです。ここを利用することにより、保安検査場の長蛇の列に並ばずに通過することができます。

実際40分前から並んだとしても、ほとんどの時間は並んで待っているだけですので、実際に通過する時刻は同じになってしまいます。

また、検査でカバンから取り出しなければならない物を知っているので、保安検査場に到着したときにはもう手に持っています。
飲み物、バッテリー、パソコン、iPad、携帯電話などです。

＊飲み物は開封済みのものは検査されますが、未開封の商品はその旨を係員に伝えれば大丈夫です。

私が保安検査場を抜けたときには、離陸の20分前ですから、そのまま搭乗ゲートに向かいます。

するとだいたい15分前に到着できますから、ぴったり飛行機の乗れるというわけです。

よく「飛行機はかなり早くに空港に行く必要があるから、時間がかかる！」と言われますが、実際はこんなスケジュールで到着しても間に合います。

まぁギリギリすぎるのも良くないですから、空港駅に離陸40分前くらいで十分じゃないでしょうか。

「1時間前に到着しなきゃ！」という方もいらっしゃいますが、時間が余る分には問題ないですし、お土産も見れますから、そのほうがいいと思います。

ただ「電車に１本乗り遅れちゃって間に合わないかも！」と不安になる人が多いので、「意外と間に合うもんだよ」とお伝えしておきます笑。

For domestic flights, there are two gates to go through before boarding the plane

If you're traveling within Japan, you'll be fine as long as you meet the deadlines at two gates.
The first is the security checkpoint.
The second is the boarding gate.

(1) Security checkpoint

The security checkpoint is a baggage inspection operated by the airport.
X-rays will be used to check your bag for knives and flammable liquids.

T-shaped razors are fine, but single-blade razors, such as those for eyebrows, must be no longer than 4 cm in length. Anything longer than that will be discarded on the spot.

It is often the knives that get caught in the inspection.
If it's something named "knife," no matter how small it is, you're out!

You can't bring in a cutter knife, or even a design knife with a blade of only 5 mm or so, and you can't bring in the knife part attached to the Jutoku Tool. By the way, scissors and nail clippers are OK to bring in.

On the other hand, you may be surprised to know that you can only bring one lighter on board.

The deadline for passing through the security checkpoint is 20 minutes before take-off time.

(2)Boarding Gate

Boarding gates are the gates (turnstiles) at which you board the planes of each airline.
In the case of LCCs and some airplanes, you may take a bus and walk to the boarding gate near the plane.

In the case of major carriers such as JAL, ANA, and Skymark, you need to tap the QR code at the automatic ticket gate to board the plane.

The deadline for the gate is 10 minutes before departure.
Even if you go to the gate 3 minutes before the departure time, you can't get on the train anymore, so you need to be careful.

The departure time on the ticket is when the plane starts to move.

Unlike trains, planes must be boarded at least 10 minutes before the departure time on the ticket.

As soon as the plane starts moving, it first moves to the runway and then takes off. This is why the gates close early.

If the plane has already passed the security check, the airline can tell that the number of passengers is not correct, so they will announce the number of passengers on the flight.
You are called "Where are the passengers scheduled to board the Japan Airlines flight to Osaka, Itami? We're waiting for you.", but be careful not to bother them.
After you get on the plane, you will be looked at "It's you? ......".

This is really harsh, so let's not do it！！！！！

Deadline for domestic flight security checkpoints changed from 15 minutes to 20 minutes before.

Effective October 27, 2019, the security checkpoint deadline has been moved up from 15 minutes to 20 minutes earlier than usual.

Around November 2019, some passengers didn't know about this, so there was a tease.

However, in 2020, it will be mercilessly closed 20 minutes earlier.

If you're referring to old travel guides and other sources, be aware that the closing time is still listed as 15 minutes before.

In my case, I arrive at Haneda Airport station 25 minutes before takeoff.

I arrive at Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal Station on the Keikyu Line from Shinagawa.

I always arrive 25 minutes before takeoff, that is, 5 minutes before the security checkpoint deadline.

This is because I know which route to take to get to the security checkpoint in the shortest amount of time, but there's another reason: the priority boarding lane.

There is a priority lane at the security checkpoint that guides passengers who are about to take off from the plane. By using this lane, you don't have to wait in a long line at the security checkpoint to get through.

In fact, even if you line up 40 minutes early, the actual time to get through will be the same since you'll just be waiting in line most of the time.

Also, you know what you have to take out of your bag for inspection, so when you arrive at the security checkpoint, you already have it in your hand.
These are drinks, batteries, computers, iPads, cell phones, etc.

If your drink has been opened, it will be inspected, but if it's unopened, just tell the attendant about it and you'll be fine.

When I go through the security checkpoint, it's 20 minutes before takeoff, so I head straight for the boarding gate.

This means that I can arrive about 15 minutes early, which means I can board the plane perfectly.

People often say, "The plane needs to get to the airport very early, so it takes a long time! But in reality, you can arrive in time even if you follow this schedule.

It's best to arrive at the airport station 40 minutes before takeoff, as you don't want to arrive at the airport too late.

You have to arrive an hour early! Some people say, "I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it on time," but it's not a problem if you have extra time, and you can see some souvenirs, so I think it's better.
