Tadej was not bad but Jonas was beyond our imagination.

To secure yellow jersey until end of third week safely, Jonas should may have saved more in ITT, but yesterday's result was very good for Jonas and TJV, anyway.

Considering previous 2 weeks, seems that Tadej spent more energy than Jonas while Jonas saved energy as much as possible. Sometimes Jonas seemd testing Tdej. Another aspect is that Tadej’s best form of this season might have been spring.

Even if there is no time gap, Jonas has advantage for third week unless Jonas didn't spent everything on ITT, literally.

But we should not underestimate Tadej. Tadej is strong. He is different other GC riders. Jonas may be cracked easily when he is on a bad day. In addition, Team Jumbo Visma needs to make sure their tactics on rest of the stages. If they underestimate Tadej or the team rely on just legs of Jonas, Tadej can reverse the situation soon.

My prominet is TJV and Jonas because UAE is good team but seems like the team exists for Tadej. On the other hand seems like Jonas is riding as a part of TJV for the team get yellow. TJV’s such mentality and tactics brought good result last year and this year’s Tour so far.

Doesn’t matter defensive or offensive. Make sure the team tactics and don’t underestimate Tadej. That takes TJV to Paris with yellow jersey.
