My642_My thoughts on my daughter_Corona infection control_ e195_236

I was disappointed with the hospital's response.

A corona infected person was found in my wife's workplace.
As she was a close contact, she underwent a PCR test.

My wife had to stay at home until the results came back.

Then, I had to be tested too.

When I went to a nearby hospital and told them that I wanted to take the PCR test because my wife had taken it, the receptionist nurse was mortified and gave me a blatantly disgusted look.

The nurse said, let's go outside and talk.

In the end, I had to take the test, but I was uncomfortable with the way this nurse, or rather the hospital, treated me.

I felt it was clearly discriminatory.

The hospital did not have a PCR test, but rather a COVID-19 antigen test, which was the same performance as the PCR test, and I tested negative.
The doctor's advice was to keep me and my wife isolated at home until the results came back negative.

This is impossible in my family with a six-year-old daughter.

My daughter is very attached to her mother. No matter how much I tell her, she won't leave me.

In the end, my wife tested negative.

In my opinion, home isolation is not possible in a family with children under the age of elementary school.

The best thing to do is to gargle and wash your hands at home.
