Apr.9th,2007 Joss Stone has come alive in Tokyo !

Finaly Joss has come alive to Tokyo at just 3meter from me !
I've been waiting for her 3 years.
She's come with very good full soul band with 10 members.

From right to left on stage, vocals(f,m,f),keybord,guiter,tenor sax,trumpet,other keyboad,bass,drums.
Her band start intro. not so loud, and she apears.

I'm not sure about fashion but I will try.

She's in purple tanktop and bright blue denim miniskirt with black&blue striped highsocks.With bandanna on her thick belt and big ring on her ears and bracelets.She's coloured her hair partialy in crimson(?) red, and it's so beautiful !

She starts to sing from her new album as order.

"Girl They Won't Believe It" & "Headturner"

I love this beggining of new album. We feel good old soul music !And then she choosed slow ballade from her 2nd album "Jet Lag ".

This night is her showcase live of her new album so that it continues as

"Arms Of My Baby","Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now","Put Your Arms Baby"&"Music"

She's moving around on stage.She not only smile but also laugh so joyful. She's so young.

Next, hey, Joss's very first super hit oldies goodies "Super Duper Love"

Her eyes are beautiful blue I could seen, she was soul queen even at 16 years old !She will be 20 tomorrow. She shouts not so loud but so soulful !

We shout and shout Yeh !

Again from new album "Big Ol' Game" and radio hit "Tell Me 'Bout It"!

She confessed she loves James Morrison ! Before starting live this night, it flowed James' album on floor.

She says this is last song, we says eeeeeh?!

But on next James'"Wonderful world", she introduce her band members as I mentioned above from right.

She sings, hey Tonya(?) will you sing, so Tonya start to sing....Each member take one's part very soulful, it continue 20 minutes !Joss really enjoy this, she really loves soul music !

On encore from 2nd album "Right To Be Wrong".

Once she disspears and comes back with beautiful purple flowers and throw in a little by a little!

So my wonderfull night end.

She will come back Japan this Summer Fes. again. I'm womdering to meet again this young Soul Diva !

　10年後、僕はカンボジアのシェムリアップにいた。

　アンコールワットを未だ見たことは無かったし、シェムリアップで、Jossのライブがあることを知った僕は、シンガポールからその一夜の為に、シェムリアップへ飛んだ。

　流石に、初めての町の夜道を歩くのはリスクがあるので、ライブ会場になるJaya House RiverParkという瀟酒なホテルを予約したが、なかなか良いホテルだった。

　昼過ぎに着いて部屋にいると、Jossの歌声が聞こえて来た。リハをやっているので、そっと見ていると、何やら歌の中で、
「そんなとこで普段着のリハなんか見てるんじゃないわよ〜♪」風な歌詞が聞こえて来たので、退散した(汗)。

　meet & greetの付いたチケットを買ったので、左の一角はプレミア・コーナーだった。
　尤も、宿に着いたら、今夜泊まる人にはプレゼントがあるとオーナーが言ったので、チケットは要らなかったかも知れない(笑)。

　ブルーのドレスで、ステージに現れたJossは美しかった。デビューした時は確か16歳位だったJossも、あれから15年近くが経ち、美しさが更に際立っていた。

　屋外のステージなので、照明に虫が集まって来て、Jossもキャッキャと逃げ惑っていた。

　ステージが終わって、上階のテラスに現れたJossは黒のドレス姿で、僕の拙い英語でもしっかり聞いてくれた。

　Jossとのツーショットは、音楽人生の宝物である。

　夜は更けて行ったが、翌朝は、アンコールワットでなサンライズ・ツアーなので、４時起きだった。これはこれで、流石に素晴らしい遺跡群だった。Jossも来ていたようだが、あの広さでは、残念ながら出遭うことは無かった。
