聖書より創世記の冒頭を英語(New Revised Standard Version)から日本語に訳してみました:

In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

はじめにつまり神つくり出した天をまた地をってとき、地はかたちなきからっぽでまた暗闇おおってたおもてをふかきの、かたや風神はなれ撫でてとおったおもてを水の。さて神言った、「さああれよ光」;　してあった光が。して神見取った光は良いって；　して神引き離した光を暗闇から。神呼んだ光を午と、また暗闇を彼呼んだ夜と。してあった夕べがしてあったあしたが、はじめの日。
