日本語による所感

前回の日記（英語日記 2023/07/15(SAT) テイクアウトかイートインか・石を買いに行った話）の続きで、パワーストーンを買いに行った話です。

結構ガチのお店で、店中に原石がごろごろしてました。先客が店員さんと石を選びながらブレスレットを作っていたので、私は気ままに店内を見ることができました。可愛い青や緑の瑪瑙を選んでレジに持って行ったところ、「着色してあるけどいい？」と訊かれたのが最初の驚き。そっか、そういう石もあるのね……。そう訊かれると色が付いてない物が欲しくなり、店内を探した挙句に購入したのが画像の石です。これも瑪瑙ですが、ご覧の通り「いま山から採ってきました」みたいな色合い。そして、心惹かれたのが、穴の中をびっしりと埋める水晶の粒（画像で見えますかね？）。光にかざすときらきらしてso good! なのです。価格もお店の中ではかなり安い部類だったので、気軽に購入できました。お金を払うときに言われた「中古じゃないから大丈夫だよ」が2番目の驚き。石にも中古って概念があるんだ。ちなみに、もし気になる場合はホワイトセージの煙で浄化してくれるらしいです。そんなやり取りをして帰る頃に別のお客さんが入ってきて、どこかの会社の秘書さんだったのでしょうか、社長のパワーストーンブレスレットの改修依頼をしてました。なんだか諸々ディープな世界を垣間見た気持ちになりました。

この体験で石に興味が出てきて、またあのお店に行きたいなーと思っている今日この頃。今回はあらかじめ買う石の候補があって、その中のひとつだった瑪瑙を買ったのですが、つぎ行く時は何も決めずにビビ！ときたものを買うのも面白そう。
