When I was young, I firmly believed if we lived with English native speakers, our English skills might improve dramatically.

What do you think of that? 
For real?

When I was a student, I had a rival 
who always got better English scores than mine.
It was frustrating.

After graduation, she married the British man!

I thought I was completely defeated by her.
She could go to the top English level.
That's because living with native was a big triumph in English! 
Ahaha!

Therefore, I abandoned English learning and chose another line of business.

Recently, however, I came across the column, Haruka 声の英語日記.

She said not all naive speakers give us the correct answer for learning English or improving your English skills.

Ohhhhhh,dear!

I didn't know that.
I made a big misunderstanding and assumptions. 
I'm ashamed of myself. 
I only scratch the surface.

Anyway,
Thanks to Haruka's column,
I began studying this language positively once again.
