I studied Social Dilemma today. We all know that we sometimes spend so much time checking our phones and realize we forget the reason why we picked up the phones. In addition to that, we frequently look into the phones to see if some notifications come or not like every five minutes. We are addicted to these metal objects, and this action seems like the people pulling the slot machine's lever. They believe they are winning so they pull the lever frequently. Checking the phones is also the same thing because people believe that some important notice comes to the phones so they check very often. That's why this action is called the "Vegas Effect." 

 I have just decided to do "do not disturb" mode on my iPhone as I study.
