Hello my name is Ryuki. I’m Japanese, and I have been playing soccer and futsal since a young age. I started playing soccer like any other boy at a local soccer club in Japan. I played in local junior team until the age of 7 where I decided that a change to a stronger team was needed to further my career.

After joining a new team, I met a coach who was playing on a professional team, and they taught me everything they knew about soccer. Training with them was really intense and difficult, but I could feel my skills continuously improving.
Once I joined the team, my soccer life drastically changed. That team always required us to have high-level soccer skills in our performance and always pushed us to win games. We competed in the national competitions in Japan and performed well. We also attended the Institut national du football de Clairefontaine in France which is where the French national team train. I was also scouted by the state selection team.

I also studied at Japan Soccer College which is the only soccer college in Japan. There I studied areas such as Strength and Physical Theory, Sports Psychology & Physiology Sports Theory, Understanding Soccer Skills and Tactics Coaching theory and Game analysis, and on top of that I did a director seminar.

From my experiences in life and soccer, I have developed a hunger to live my dream, and as a result I see challenges and hardships as an opportunity to improve. I believe this outlook on life allowed me to grow in every way. I have experience playing soccer in Japan, the UK, Thailand, Cambodia, and Australia. Although it was a great opportunity for me, I had to step away from professional soccer due to an injury. However, I was still able to continue playing futsal. I have a great appreciation for futsal as well because I was able to acquire advanced skills and techniques though out my time playing.

In 2017 I came to Australia, and I have been playing in the Futsal Premier League,F League since then. I have also played one season of soccer in the  NPL. I am a coach in SDB academy Currently, my dream is to teach many children the joys of soccer and the importance of the basics while sharing my experience.
