Today, I'm introducing Mr. Yuge, a fellow of engineering. 

- What is your role at Lily MedTech?

As a fellow of engineering, I’m taking care of total system and embedded  software.

- Could you tall me your background? 

Over 20 years, I worked for one of the largest electronics companies and developed / managed industrial system and OS in the areas such as network, communication, image processing (mainly moving image compression), and robot control. I was involved in PC business from its very early days, I analyzed Bill Gates’ source cord and translated it into Japanese.
After that, I spent 10 years for developing proton radiation therapy system, surgical robot, and other medical devices at the same company.
Instead of managing people, I wanted to be hands-on, doing things by myself, and study something new, I left the company and started going to a school. I also started supporting laboratory at the University of Tokyo. When I was working for the electronics company, I used to work with Takashi, current CTO, and started supporting the project as a laboratory staff, and joined Lily MedTech after the company started. 

- What are your motivation and challenges?

I want to utilize my experience and newly learned knowledge, and to be involved in the development using my own hands. 

- How do you find Lily MedTech?

When the project was started, it was rather tough because there were few member who experienced manufacturing. But now, we have many members from medical device manufactures and it is getting in a good shape. 

- Could you tell me your personal life? I heard that you really liked cars...

I like vehicles very much and I have three cars and three motorbikes! (8,850 ㏄ and 1,150 horsepower in total?!)
I piloted a plane abroad!
I really like vehicles, especially the ones that changes directions in roll axis!

Thank you. Well, I knew that he loved cars, but his passion was exceeded my expectation by far...  As he has such a rich experience and knowledge, he is our reliable fellow!
