About him

His name is Yuki Kondo. He graduated from Tokyo university, and he traveled for more than 5 years around the world, while he started to work as a writer.

He is a freelance writer. He writes about non-fiction stories, since articles, book reviews etc. When he was young, he dreamed of being a Cultural scholar. He used to hate reading books, but when he was in university, he met a lot of friends who like books. So, at that time he became interested in books.

When was 4th year in university, he traveled in India for a graduation trip for a week. He saw a lot of kinds of lifestyle, and he saw some situations in which people die for diverse ways in the same area. That became his life big chance. He thought "I should live a freer life though travel'. Then, he started his travel life.

During his 4th grade in university, he was in Australia, and he met a girl. She loves traveling.

They traveled a lot of countries such as Europe, south Africa, and south Asia for 5 years together. They got married. After he graduated university, he requires a way to earn money to continue their travels. So, he started writing. He wrote kind of stories like the things of his travel and happing. The places where they visit, what they saw, and how they live there.

His journey

He visited Europe, Spain and Morocco, south Africa, Australia, Turkey, China, Indonesia, Thailand, and south Asia. They were feeling each country's cultures and amazing things. They got back in Japan when they want to have break of travel. He and his wife strongly felt, Japan is a most different countries in this world though their visiting a lot of countries. They also realized how China is an amazing country to live. Then, they moved back to China, and they visit around a lot of place China.

He only published in Japan because he could write without stress. Even if things a little different from what happened locally, Japanese reader would not know, so he was free to write based on his own ideas. He also realized that to go out for a long journey to train himself as a writer.

Things he wants to tell.

The system is too well established in this era (at least in Japan). But it is important to remember that following the system is just a way among many options. Once you 'de-system' yourself, you will be able to see the world you currently depend upon, and that experience will make it easier for you to live freely.

You don’t necessarily have to stick to the environment you are currently in, if you find it difficult to live in. It is important to know that you can always look for another environment where you can live comfortably.

It is important to surrender to chance and go with the flow. Always leave some space for a coincidence or an accident to change your life. Travelling gives you a great opportunity to realize this.

Things don't always go as you wish. But it’s important to try and make a move. By thinking, struggling, and moving, a new world will surely open for you.
