■嚙み砕いて飲み込む血の味

眼下に土と白いものが見えている。

白いものは動物のようで、横になってエビのように丸くなる姿勢をとっているように見えた。

　少しそこまで距離がある。見下ろしているように見えるし、そこは穴のようになっているようにも見える。茶色い土のようだ。周りが。

今回は何の使命感にも駆られていないが、ふと右手を出し、それを掌で掴み、(手を延ばすとそこに届き、縮尺と関係なくそれをつかむことが出来た。）親指を内側に、包むように片手でそれを持ちあげた。

掌に入るように小さく収まってしまったが、それは白い大型犬だった。でも日本犬タイプではなく、ラブラドールのようない感じの犬だ。寝ているのかな？静かに丸まっていて置物のようだ。

一拍の休符もなく、そのままそれを私は口の中に運んで噛んだ。

　もぐもぐとそれを食べて、でも、その行為がおかしくて気持ち悪いこともその時はちゃんと感じていて、早くそれをやり過ごしたくて一生懸命噛んで飲み込むことに集中した。嫌いなものをなんとしても体の中に入れてクリアしたい時と一緒だ。口の中にはレバーのような血の味が、滲んで感じた。しばらくしてそれを、嗅覚を停止した状態でごくんと飲み込んだ。

機械的にそれを3回繰り返した。3匹同じ状態で居たのだろうか？ただその場の記憶を反芻していたのだろうか、どちらだったのかは記憶に自信が無い。

噛んでいた時の感触が気持ち悪い。

　そして、起きたらふつうはすごい勢いで消えていこうとする記憶(夢）なのに、今回はいつまでも消えずにこびりついている。メモするしかない。

　The Taste of Blood, Chewed and Swallowed

Below me, I see earth and something white.

The white thing looks like an animal, lying on its side, curled up like a shrimp.

There’s a bit of distance to it. It looks like I’m looking down at it, and it looks like it’s in a hole. It looks like brown earth. Around it.

I don’t feel any sense of mission this time, but I suddenly reach out with my right hand, grab it with my palm, (when I reach out, I can reach it, and I can grab it regardless of scale.) I lift it up with one hand, my thumb on the inside, wrapping around it.

It fit into my palm as if it were small, but it was a large white dog. But not a Japanese dog type, more like a Labrador. Is it sleeping? It’s quietly curled up like a statue.

Without a beat of rest, I carried it straight to my mouth and bit into it.

I chewed and ate it, but at the time I felt that the act was strange and disgusting, and I wanted to get through it quickly so I focused on chewing and swallowing. It’s like when you want to get something you don’t like into your body no matter what. The taste of blood, like liver, seeped into my mouth. After a while, I swallowed it with my sense of smell turned off.

I mechanically repeated this three times. Were there three animals in the same state? Or was I just ruminating on the memory of the place? I’m not confident in my memory.

The sensation of chewing is disgusting.

And then, when I woke up, the memory (dream) that would normally disappear with great force is still stuck to me and won’t go away. All I can do is take notes.

何故か、食べて飲み込むのか謎な夢。味の記憶は残っていなかった。
