NFTを始めたとき漠然と
「海外のコレクターさんがわたしの絵を見てくれるんじゃないか」
正直そんなことを胸に秘めていました。
そして英語の発信を頑張ってみたり、、
海外の方にも響きそうなコレクションを考えてみたり、、

でも中々海外の方までは届かず
日本のコレクターさんや仲間がたっっくさんお話しや応援やお迎えをしてくれて嬉しくて
日本に向けた発信に専念するようになっていきました。

そんな中で１通のメールが

なんとRecomet というNFTイラスト依頼サイトでご依頼が！

それも海外の方！
Thank you radmatist-san!!

ありがたくご依頼を頂戴し、無事納品させていただきました！

この記事では
今回ご依頼をくださったradmatistさんに実際に伺った内容をもとに
①どうやってわたしを見つけてくれたのか
②依頼したいと思ってくれた理由
③もっと強化しようと思うこと
上記３点についてお話しさせていただきます

①どうやってわたしを見つけてくれたのか

答えは、Recometでした！
正確には
Recomet→Twitter→Opensea→ご依頼の流れだったそうです。
そこでわたしの「色から創作する」ことを読み解いていただき
お声をかけていただきました。

実は、Recometは去年ご縁をいただいて登録したものの
正直登録しっぱなしになってしまっていました。
どうしても創作活動が優先され、手が回っていなかったのです。
そこをクロコ(夫)が今年に入ってからポートフォリオ化してくれていました。

また、Recometはじめその他のサービスにて
「自分を検索してみなさい」とアドバイスをもらい
やってみたのもとても効果的だったと思います。
見に来てくれる人、わたしを探しに来てくれる人
そんな方々に「見に来てよかった」と思ってもらえるように
と考えるようになりました。

今回の１つ目の学びは
「見に来てよかったと思ってもらえるような準備をしておく」ことです。
当たり前ですが、
シーンに直面する前に準備は必要で、
シーンに出会うためにもまた準備が必要でした。

わたしわたしとなっていますが
もちろん、radmatistさんが見つけてくれたからに他なりません。
ただ、クリエイター側が出来ることの気付きがあったのです。

②依頼したいと思ってくれた理由

どこまで聞いたのw と思われそうですが
radmatistさんが優しすぎてついついお話を伺ってしまいました…
結論「3色で留まるという規律を楽しんでいます」というお言葉をいただきました。
これは「色を大切にし、３つの色のイメージから作品を作る」ことに関心を持っていただけたのだと思いました。

ここから再認識したのは
・ポリシーがあること
・わかりやすいこと
これが大切であるということです。
そう、これは初めてわたしの作品をお迎えしてくれた方に
いただいたお言葉。

とはいえ
わたしの「色を大切にし、３つの色のイメージから作品を作る」
というコンセプトは日本語でもややわかりにくい気がしています。
それをご理解してくれて、面白いといってくれたradmatistさんの聡明さにも感謝です。

TLの方やフォロワーさま、全員に伝えるのは難しいかもしれない。
でも「わかりたい」と思ってくれた人に
伝えるように準備しておく義務はわたしにはあると
ここでも再認識しました。

繰り返しですが、
海外の方に向けた発信はほとんど出来ていなかったわたしです。
読み解いていただいて感謝です。

③もっと強化しようと思うこと

・各サービスのポートフォリオの整備
・わたしがどんな人かを簡単に示せる言葉やイラストをいくつも考える
・「見ればわかる」発信に挑戦してみる
・英語の発信も織り交ぜる

上記の４つです。
今回は本当にradmatistさんがとても優しくて寛大で聡明だったので
わたしのわずかな情報をたぐり寄せてくれました。
わたしはこの優しさに甘えず、活かしていかなければならない。

わたしは何を大切にしているクリエイターなのか。
それをしっかりお伝えしていく。
基本なのかもしれませんが
今回改めて身にしみました。

わたしは
「色の楽しさを届けたい」
なぜなら
「色が楽しくなったら
今、目の前に広がる景色をもっと豊かに見られるようになるから」
「色が楽しくなったら
日常の風景が新鮮に見えてきて、何気ない日々も愛しくなるはずだから」

Hello, my name is MAcci and I am a color designer by profession and a creator at NFT.

When I started NFT, I had a vague idea in my mind that "maybe overseas collectors would look at my paintings. I tried my best to communicate in English and to think of a collection that would resonate with overseas collectors....

However, it did not reach overseas people, and I was so happy to hear from so many collectors and friends in Japan who gave me their support and welcome, that I began to focus on sending out information to Japan.

Then I received an email.

What a surprise... a request came in from Recomet, an NFT illustration request site!

That's also from overseas! Thank you radmatist-san!

Thankfully, I received the request and delivered it successfully! On the left is my work! (Right is the generative artwork of the original project Aiko)

In this article, I would like to talk about the following three points based on what I actually asked the client, radmatist
(1) How did you find me
(2)The reason why you wanted to commission me
(3) What I would like to strengthen further

⑴How did you find me

The answer was Recomet! To be exact, it was Recomet→Twitter→OpenSea→request. I was contacted by Recomet after they read that I "create from colors".

To tell the truth, I registered with Recomet last year, but to be honest, I had left it there for a while. My priority was my creative activities and I had not been able to get around to it. Croco (my husband) started to make my portfolio this year.

I was also advised to "search myself" on Recomet and other services, and I think it was very effective. I started to think about how to make people who come to see my work and who come to look for me happy that they came to see my work.

The first lesson I learned this time is to be prepared to make people happy they came to see you. Of course, preparation was necessary before facing the scene, and also to meet the scene.

Of course, I am the one who found the scene, but it was only because radmatist found it for me.

⑵The reason why you wanted to commission me

You may be thinking, "How much did you ask?" but radmatist was so kind that I couldn't help but listen to what he had to say... In conclusion, he told me, "I enjoy the discipline of staying with three colors. I thought this showed that he was interested in "valuing colors and creating artwork from the images of three colors.

This reminded me of the importance of having a policy and being easy to understand. This is what I was told by the first person who welcomed my work.

However, I feel that my concept of "valuing colors and creating works from the images of three colors" is somewhat difficult to understand even in Japanese. I am grateful to radmatist for understanding this, and for his intelligence in calling my work interesting.

It may be difficult to communicate with all the people on the TL and my followers. However, I have reaffirmed my obligation to be prepared to communicate to those who "want to understand".

Again, I have not been able to communicate much to people overseas. Thank you for reading and understanding.

⑶I would like to strengthen the following points.

・I will try to create a portfolio of each service,
・I think of words and illustrations that can easily show what kind of person I am
・Try to communicate in a way that is "easy to understand when you see it"
・and I would like to weave communication in English as well

These are the above four things. This time, radmatist was very kind, generous, and intelligent enough to help me with the little information I had.

I must not take advantage of this kindness. I have to make sure that I convey this to the public. It may be basic, but this time I learned it all over again.

I want to deliver the joy of color, because if we can enjoy color, we can see the scenery that spreads out in front of us more richly, and if we can enjoy color, we can see everyday scenery freshly, and we can love even the most ordinary days.
