記念すべき一回目は、大好きな MKBHD のレビュー動画から、知らなかった単語をピックアップしていきます。
seam
継ぎ目 (英辞郎)
This time it is one continuous piece of metal all the way around with no seam, and that is better than before.
seamless は知っている方も多いと思いますが、seam 単独(？)でも使われるんですね。
inconspicuous
目立たない (英辞郎)
It can be a super inconspicuous little puck of a smartwatch.
conspicuous 「目立つ」もセットで覚えましょう。
finicky
細心の注意が必要な (英辞郎)
It is a little bit finicky to me at first, but I suspect that just takes some getting used to.
こういう単語を使えるようになりたいですね。。

今回は、超有名なテック系 YouTuber MKBHD のレビュー動画から、知らなかった単語をピックアップしました。興味のある方は、1年前の Pixel 6 のレビュー動画と比べてみると面白いかもしれません。
こんな感じで語彙力をつけて表現の幅を広げて行きたいです。
