1. Introduction

I talked about my hobby last time, so I am going to talk about myself in this post. Currently, I am studying at college in the United States, but I was born and raised in Tokyo. I have an older brother and a younger sister. I was a kid who loved playing with friends outside and trying new things.

2. Childhood

Soccer changed my life. I started to play soccer when I was eight. I remember my friend asked me to come to her team's practice and I just said yes. I didn't even think about playing soccer by then, but I was immediately fascinated by soccer. Since that day, soccer has been everything for me.

3. Leave back home for new life

After graduating from High school, I decided to leave my country to study and play soccer in the United States. My goal was to play in the D1 school and to be better at soccer. However, my English skill was't good at the time, so I decided to go to NAIA school first. I chose the University of Northwestern Ohio as a first step.

4. UNOH: Connecting to the world

I'll never forget my time at UNOH. I met a number of friends from all over the world. Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, South Africa, Finland, Mexico… I cannot write down all of them, but I made a relationship with so many friends. We all had different languages and cultures, but we connected through "Soccer." I struggled a lot, but we made the NAIA national tournament twice. The time I spent at UNOH made me who I am today.

5. RMU: The end of my chapter as a soccer player

I transferred to RMU last year. It was a big challenge for me because playing at D1 school was like a dream everyone had. I've been playing soccer my whole life. I had never hated soccer until I came here. I had a lot of difficulties, but I am very glad to choose this school and finish my career as a soccer player here. 

Now I am about to start a new life. I am so excited to see what future I hold!
