Today I went cherry blossom viewing with my friends. The saying " Hanayori,dango " suited us well. This word means that food is more important than flowers.
The cherry blossoms had already started to fall but it was still beautiful.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I have never had the chance to go cherry blossom viewing until now.
So today's meeting was a very valuable experience for me.

I never thought I'd be so happy just eating dinner with friends and looking at flowers, without doing anything special.
I feel like I will remain good friends with these friends even as we get older.

今日は友達とお花見に行きました。花より団子という言葉がぴったりでした。花よりも食べ物が大切という意味の言葉です。
桜は散り始めていましたが、それでもきれいでした。

コロナ禍で今までお花見に行く機会がありませんでした。だから今日の会合は私にとってとても貴重な経験でした。

特別なことをせず、ただ友達とご飯を食べながらお花を見ているだけでこんなに幸せだとは思いませんでした。
この友達とは歳を重ねてもずっと仲良しでいられる気がします。
