On June 17th, 2022, we had Mugen ARt×HashPalette AMA in Twitter Space, where Head of Strategy of HashPort and HashPalette Dorado and co-founder of MAG HUB and Mugen ARt Jerry dived deep into some insightful details related to the current business mode, Ecosystem, future plans, strategic cooperation between two companies and more.

Mugen ARt’s current business model and future plans

Firstly, Jerry introduced the basic information and original design concept of MAG HUB and its leading product Mugen ARt, and then briefly introduced two early investment institutions, SNZ and Dapper Labs.

In terms of choosing 3D digital collectibles as a new NFT track, Jerry explained three reasons:

1. PFP NFT can not represent the entirety of NFT.

2. many members of the team are big fans of ACGN and physical animation figures.

3. physical animation figures have the limitations of physical space and difficulties of details depicting.

Jerry also introduced Mugen ARt’s four major activities for the upcoming blind box sale further, including basic sales information, ultimate collection reward activities, rich benefits for the debut of our Mugen Box and innovative bonus. Ecosystem of HashPalette and future plans

In terms of HashPalette’s development fields and future ecological plans, Dorado said that HashPalette was indeed fully committed to the GameFi field, and would like to link products in the Gamefi project with Mugen ARt to 3D virtual figures in the future. The 360 ecosystem will continue to drive strong cooperation and outstanding experience.

Strategic cooperation between two companies

Both sides have shown great enthusiasm for this cooperation. Dorado said the biggest reason that HashPalette chose MAG HUB as important partner was that both share the same vision of better spreading Japanese entertainment through web3, and the combination of HashPalette and MagHub would be an unstoppable force. Jerry also said, in addition to the blockchain technology could solve the pain point of anti-counterfeiting and right confirmation of physical figures, HashPalette’s great achievements and development in Japanese IP and NFT market were also important reason that Mugen ARt chose to cooperate with Palette chain for the blind box sale of The Ancient Magus’ Bride.

Views sharing on the whole crypto industry concerning NFT, Metaverse, Web3 etc

3D NFT

Jerry held that in the context of the metaverse becoming an irreversible trend in the future, 3D NFT had a inevitable bright future. Dorado also has great expectations for 3D NFT, metaverse is looking for new ways for growth, AR and 3D digital figures are bound to be the next step in the development of NFTs.

l differentiated competition with 2D NFT’s animation IP

Jerry praised some existing 2D projects, but still firmly believed that 3D was the future and digital assets would become a rigid need, and human beings would be able to achieve immortality with a high probability in the digital sense. What Mugen ARt was currently doing was paving the way for 3D digital assets to become a major trend in the future and creating richer application scenarios. Dorado also said he was a big fan of the idea of “digital immortality,” and another radical way to see the next step in evolution was the alternate “life paths”either by increasing interactions between people or fully digitizing life, which was expected to be realized through the Metaverse.

l future development of the entire industry

Dorado believed that the current industry NFTs, GameFi, DeFi, and metaverse were all growing at a high speed, but somehow presented isolated business models. If successful cooperation or combination could be established, it would be the next peak of web3. Jerry held the view that the entire NFT market was still in a stage where financial attributes were greater than collection attributes. With the technology iteration and metaverse framework becoming clearer and clearer, the future NFT field would find a new balance. 3D digital assets that could be traversed in different scenarios were sure to shine.
