日本最大級の都市型音楽フェスティバル「サマーソニック（SUMMER SONIC）」が本日15日と翌16日、東京と大阪の2会場で開催される。16年目を迎える同フェスの今年の見どころのひとつが、東京1日目の深夜帯に開催されるオールナイトイベント「ホステス クラブ オールナイター（HOSTESS CLUB ALL-NIGHTER）」だ。例年は「ミッドナイトソニック」として開催していた同枠を今回、気鋭の洋楽レーベル「ホステス（HOSTESS）」が手掛ける洋楽イベントと共同で開催。注目はレディオヘッドのトム・ヨークの出演だ。昨年9月にリリースしたソロ・アルバム「TOMORROW'S MODERN BOXES」の再現ライブを世界初披露する。トム・ヨークはパリ・コレクションのフロントロー常連のファッション通としても知られ、「ドリス ヴァン ノッテン（DRIES VAN NOTEN）」や「メゾン マルジェラ（MAISON MARGIELA）」「アンダーカバー（UNDER COVER）」などのブランドと親交を持ち、洋服を着こなしている。
